***OFFICIAL 'The Walking Dead' TV Series Thread*** (3 Viewers)

Season 5 just finished filming Saturday. We saw on the Talking Dead that Sasha is now 8 months pregnant. Will she continue this physical demanding role in that state?

If she does, will the character be pregnant in the second half of the season? Or will they try to hide it?

Seems like a good time to kill her off...
maybe Sasha dies because of Tyreese being a #####.. making Tyreese change his ways and turn into a bad ### killing machine?
That would make a lot of fans happy.

I don't have a huge problem with Tyreese being a big softy though. This group is mostly bad ### killing machines at this point. Somebody has to balance that out a bit.
Yea but why make the character who was THE bad ### killing machine in the comics into the pansy ### #####?
 Maybe because Daryl wasn't in the comics.

Most viewers didn't read the comics, so it doesn't bother them to have Tyreese as the "gentle giant" character.

I thought it was interesting that Rick chose Michonne to stay back and look after his kids. Tyreese is a proven babysitter, but Rick obviously has a lot more faith in Michonne.

The Michonne and Carl combo has gone together before with good results and now knowing more of her past would even make that trust stronger.

Michonne makes sense as the babysitter, he's Rick's #1 priority and she is Rick's #1 choice.

Also, Glenn seems to be putting together a pretty solid little harem.
Tara is underrated. the face is meh, but the rest is good to go. :yabos:
Indeed. Even the face is underrated imo. Link.

Note: probably been mentioned but I didn't realize her brothers in real life are Hyde from "That 70's Show" and Francis from "Malcolm in the Middle".

I didn't realize that they were different people.

The midseason finale could redeem the season, I think it will. We could get Morgan, find out what the preacher's doing, Eugene/Abe stuff and which direction they'll go, and the hospital stuff. Should be a 2 hour show.

And I was kinda hoping to see Noah actually come out of the woods and see him meet Rick.
This irked the crap out of me. I thought my wife accidentally fast forwarded a few minutes into the episode when it just jumped right into them barricading the church (Noah included). Guess they just assume we put 2 and 2 together, but that was a pretty good opportunity for a good scene. I will concur with those that think the writing leaves a lot to be desired. This season has been pretty lame.

Read an interview today with Norman Reedus who plays Daryl and he mentioned that Dsrul gues through something really traumatic. He said that Daryl keeps getting the carrot dangled in front if him and that they take the carrot away. I am guessing either Beth or Carol. One of them fir sure, I would bet on it.

Who is Dsrul? Is that Morgan's alias?

if morgan is going to end up with the group they have to kill off one of the black people to make room for him...cant have to many blacks at one time in the group

So who's death would make the writers look good, and who's death would make the writers look bad?

Not based on any spoilers, think Carol dies:

- Writers don't want a romantic relationship with her and Daryl

- She can save Beth and die an honorable death

- Leaves Rick feeling worse since he'll feel responsibility for originally sending her packing

I think a couple of the "main" people die, but not Daryl or Carrol. I am gonna say both Sasha and Beth, maybe Maggie (nooooooooooo).

Would a Sasha/Beth death even really be all that shocking or sad for viewers?

My original question about the writers was total sarcasm, but they really do have several ways they can go here.

Spoiler-ish

Talking about the emotional turmoil faced by his character, Norman Reedus has revealed that before shooting the scenes of the finale episode titled 'Coda', he cried for an hour.

"I sat on an apple box with my head between my legs and just bawled for an hour," Reedus told TV.com. "I really wanted not to tear up during the scene. I wanted to be like I had wasted every tear in my body before we started shooting—so I just sat there and cried and cried and cried."

He also teased that the 'loss' will be a very tragic moment for the crossbow warrior as one of his loved ones will leave him.

"He's one of those characters where they keep dangling a carrot in front of him and he keeps reaching for it," Reedus says, "but the carrot falls in the mud right before he's about to get it."

Daryl was going strong even after Beth's kidnapping in season 4 but he lost control over his emotions when he met Carol after her heroic efforts to save the group from the cannibals at the Terminus.

The Caryl hug is still fresh in fans' minds and there is no doubt that her death will break Daryl's heart to pieces.

If Carol dies, they've taken the best character (by far) off the show, as well as the best actress. I normally like when main characters bite the dust, but with such poor acting overall on the show and characters who never do the common-sense thing, this is not the time for her to go. I would much prefer the zombies eat Carl slowly and painfully, and then walk off wearing that ridiculous hat.

I'm with you, but the writers don't want to deal with the Daryl/Carol romance. Even though she's the show's best actor I believe this is the end for her.

I wonder why. Doesnt really make any sense if thats the case ya know.

Which episode to they come across her twin sister   (if indeed she does die, who knows).

If someone is going to die then i'm Leaning towards Carol myself.. Beth & Daryl storyline has been on hold since the end of last year.

Meanwhile they've spent a good deal of time this season showing Carol & Daryl "growing" and bonding... Carol dieing to save someone, maybe even Daryl himself, would setup a Good "cliff hanger" until it returns next year.

Just my :2cents:

I think the obvious choice is Carol however I don't she it is her.

I think there will be two deaths tonight. One is going to be Judith. There is no story there and she doesn't help out the survivors or anything. I think this is the time she goes. Question is, how does she go? She will get scratched or something and Carol puts her out of her misery.

The second death will be... Glen, Beth or Maggie.

And as is often the case with this show and spoilers etc., what will probably end up happening tonight is...

Absolutely no one dies and it was all a misdirection.

At this point they have to wait until she's a toddler to get the most dramatic effect.
