***OFFICIAL 'The Walking Dead' TV Series Thread*** (5 Viewers)

That was one of the most satisfying moments of this show.
that was one of the dumbest moments, in my opinion. Really grab a bazooka and use it just that easily? was pretty bad
Ok, this is dumb
More action than the first half of the season, but I don't think it was that much improved plot wise.
Same as usual. Great freaking episode and some still can't enjoy it. First, ould they have foreshadowed the rocket launcher use anymore? Daryl was back there for a while. By the way, here is a video of a kid shooting an RPG. It takes the kid a few seconds of instructions. So, please let's not even discuss the thought that Daryl at this point in his life (especially with Abe, who could easily have shown him how to shoot it), can't fire that rocket launch easily if what looks like an 8 year old can fire an RPG with barely any instruction.

Loved the start of this season.

Only plot movement was carol somewhat realizing Morgan may not be totally wrong and Rick losing Jessie.

But the action was good.

Hands down best episode ever
:goodposting:

Loved everything about it. Nibble on that, Jesse/Ron/####### little kid/Carl losing an eye, Glenn with Enid, the wolf and the new doc, Abe and Sasha saving Glenn and the whole town turning into Rick. All in a single episode.

No, you're right, taking on a thousand walkers with a hatchet is a great idea.

Umm, pissing off Negan and clearing the entire town of walkers down? Pretty sure both of those are big plot movements. Having a new doctor now and the town coming together like that was pretty big as well. Quite a step up from their ineptitude at the end of last season.

My bad, grabbed your post as a "show" having a dumb scene. Rick lost it, should have died, but the town rallied and saved him. He wasn't thinking/planning at that point, he pulled a Tyrese since he had basically just lost his whole "family" in one shot. He likely wasn't thinking Carl was going to live from a gun shot to the eye. Honestly, the wolf doing what he did ended up saving Carl by putting the new doctor in the infirmary at the right time.

So Negan being a badsass turned out to be Negan was nothing but talk?

Loved his demise.

we havent even seen him yet
Yep, the guy even said he wasn't Negan. Likely, he is going to be a bit pissed at whoever blew up his crew. Hopefully, Daryl/Abe are on the smart side and clean up their mess. Pretty clear that Negan's crew is well armed, don't want them going after you in revenge mode.

Excellent payoff, unfortunately we had to wait a few months to get it. Honestly feels like this episode should have been the midseason finale.

Can't wait to check this thread in a few days and see everyone #### all over an amazing episode

Said same thing

WOW they did it  wasn't sure they'd go there but they did.. carl now a :pirate:
I thought they punked out at first... made me enjoy it and go nuts even more. It was a home-run.

Now if NEGAN can make an entrance/impact in the show like he does in the books... well, we may just have a Grand Slam and the best show in history, ever.

Awesome episode. I did not pick up on the above at all, given that Carol said "I should have killed you" and Morgan replied "you can't" and there was no further interaction. I honestly thought she might shoot him in the back to close that scene.

On Talking Dead they seemed to be making a big deal of how Morgan finally did what it took it made me question what I saw. I saw Morgan killing a wolf who was already turning, and even then he was apologetic. I don't think Morgan has had any issue killing walkers. Did he kill someone else outside his new principles?

So the reality factor of this RPG was like zero right? The explosion came from underneath like someone rolled a grenade... but besides that... how are you not going to notice someone just fired off a RPG round? Maybe they were so close the explosion was pretty instant? Seems like you might half turn your head before you got blown to #### though. IDK figured someone would be picking that apart already.

Yea, WTF, really?!?! If anything Morgan came around to the "kill to survive" philosophy of Carol.

And a HUGE plot movement was them facing an actual threat, ie, reality in their fictional little world... AND... driving that force back and deciding not to flee the fictional little world but trying to make the experiment feasible. What did Rick say was the first time he felt something before he woke up? I don't recall the exact words. Big plot movements there though. What show is this Zow guy watching?

This was the second part of my post and I'm curious on your take on that, since it was mentioned on Talking Dead. I think Morgan has already shown he will readily kill walkers, which the Wolf seemed to have become unless I'm mistaken. I didn't see indication he is anywhere nearer killing humans to survive.

smh
Trust me, I'm trying to love the show. Tons of exciting and tense moments in this episode.

It just gets so repetitive with Rick's character and silly that the other people follow him. I also tend to get sucked out of the moment with all of the close calls with the main characters that we know aren't going to die.

Oh he might struggle with it... but it's like that first hit of crack, killing is. A slippery slope that almost just becomes muscle memory.

But we'll soon find out eh!? Humans appear to be the biggest threat upon the horizon ;)

I thought Glen was going to put the moves on Enid. Maggie was all but dead, so why not, right?

The battle was fake. Not something that would happen in the real apocalypse at all. Thought it was way overdone.

Can't stay in the area now. The water supply is tainted along with too many zombies to get rid of.

It's not Game of Thrones but it's still good, bro. Very entertaining but still a show about zombies and characters most people feel connected to. Worrying about who's mowing the grass and how an rpg explodes is missing the entire point of the show. The other stuff is just part of the drama of a zombie show. People are going to almost die all of the time. They've lost quite a few main characters over the years. Can't lose them all.

One of the better episodes of the series IMO. Shame they had to kill the MILF though

That whole scene where the family bites it and Carl gets shot is probably the best single scene of the series.

Plus Rick's revelation at the end.

For me its when Rick killed the gang with his teeth. Or the scene where they were slitting necks, or look at the flowers. But this is up there. The whole episode was great

Interviews with Rick and Maggie about filming the Season Finale should give all hope.. Both said they were sick to their stomachs after reading the script and dreaded going to film that day.

Couldn't believe the scene with the lady and her kids and Coral getting shot in the face actually happened. Thought it was some sort of dream sequence or something until Wolf mentioned the gunshot. Crazy.

Good episode.
