Flub.  People talking, speculating. Much like many of us here are doing.

No one knows for sure except the people on the show.  

How are you confused?  Or does that come easy for you?

So you are saying all other facts and intents aside, would Hilltop be in the wrong thinking they need to kill hostage keepers (in whatever state they find them) to get Aaron free from threat? Sure. I'd say their motivation was justified. I'm going to agree to disagree with you on the topic. I'm not really interested in continuing to debate with someone who thinks the book should still be out on the saviors. It's just not my viewing experience to think of them as anything but a catastrophic threat to Alexandria. I don't expect or wish that Rick & gang sit on their hands and hope for the best until 20 armed bikers are knocking on the gate. I'd consider that pretty foolish and not in their best interest of survival.

Threat or no threat, either killing people who may or may not be aware or involved in any wrong-doings simply because they are associated with a group of people is either acceptable or unacceptable. You say acceptable. That's fine, I was just curious.

I think a lot of stuff Rick and co have done have pushed them a lot closer to the "bad guys" than distanced themselves.

You're talking about an apocalypse where human life is dwindling. Wantonly killing people is bad business for the future of the race.

Morgan might be too far in the other direction, but Rick is the polar opposite. If you think Morgan is a ##### then Rick is a psychopath. There is a middle ground and they haven't got there yet. They seem to be increasing the distance. 

 
I am only in season 2, episode 8 but can't seem to understand why the humans aren't sticking together more. Seems like they enjoy fighting each other over the walkers...

 
It's a spoiler. Period.

You acting like a petulant child who refuses to be wrong isn't surprising in the least, but it's still as annoying as it ever was.

And wtf do you mean "detailed"?  I could come up with a more detailed ending than that,  In fact, in this thread there are more detailed endings that people thought about.

I've studied history and up until recently the people who survived were those who could kill people the best or those who allowed themselves to be subjugated, like Hilltop.

Being the 'good guy' is great but you had better be as vicious as the 'bad guys'.

The biker gang specifically said what their modus operandi was.  They would kill one person.  They were about to kill one of Rick's group right before they were blown out of their boots.  That's grounds to think they will kill in the future.

Rick openly talked to the rest of Alexandria about the plan and the reasons to take the Saviors out before they came for them. He made his arguments and let people have a say if they disagreed. Morgan's head would be in a fish bowl if he had stood up and told the Governor that 'maybe we could just talk it out instead."

Yeah, totally agree. I'd be curious what that 50% population thinks Governor would do if he came across Alexandria or Hilltop. I'm guessing not try to blend in and/or create harmonic trade relations. He'd just kill them all, take their stuff, and tell his peons that they were attacked first.

it was second as well, but hilltop says that their first experience with the saviors, the saviors beat a kid to death in front of them just to prove a point.

so really, not sure there's too much difference... other than the saviors letting some people live. rick seems pretty bent on killing anybody who poses a threat- imagined or real.

I still think this world needs a dictator historical "big man" to take control by just about any means necessary to unite the survivors into a larger, sustainable force both to combat the zombies and to survive/provide/grow food/procreate/etc. 

 
I see both sides of the spoiler fence here.  On one hand, the show deviates from the comics on a frequent basis so talking about what happens in them... while a potential spoiler... isn't always one.

That said, how hard is it to put something in spoiler tags if it's a potential spoiler?  Isn't that what the tag is there for?

Similar feeling here.

While there are quite a few people in here that violate and/or completely don't understand what a spoiler is it's equally ridiculous to complain about them.  They act like a spoiler is really going to ruin the surprise for them when the only suspense that this show has created for the season finally is based on the fact that we already know Negan is coming and already know he's going to do something really horrible.  Unless someone finds out and spills which main character(s) it is it's probably not worth getting bent out of shape over.

I dunno if you're referring to the most recent Copeman vs the world stuff, but I'm not bent out of shape over any spoiler. I could care less. There are people who do though. My issue was that he refused to acknowledge it was even a spoiler. Then acted like a little ##### about it.

Actually, bolded face type is the easiest to ignore.  Just spot it in your peripherals (it stands out)... then ignore it.  We're not really talking about eyes here.  It's your brain.  This is not a "safe zone" for you.  If you want, there is probably a heavily moderated TWD forum that will tailor to your needs there.  I'm fine not posting spoilers and using the tags if I decide to talk about something in the comic.  But there's this weird line that Copeland apparently crossed where some people don't even want you to talk about what other people THINK might happen.  Then, as the GoT thread showed,  you'll have people that pretend to speculate knowing the truth to do a "did I do that?" spoiler.   Some people are going to call you ugly and stupid.  Some people are going to post spoilers.  They're #####, the world is full of them, there's no escaping it no matter how much we plead.   So let us talk about the show.

Not much of a cell. Do the writers realize that the walls of this room are sheetrock?

Anyone could put a fist or foot through and walk into the next room at any time.

At least the cell that Morgan was held in was against 2 outside walls with plywood siding.
