***OFFICIAL 'The Walking Dead' TV Series Thread*** (1 Viewer)

One of the most frustratingly unrealistic aspects of the episode was how the steam on the shower glass seemed to settle in the most strategic locations.....

So is Ricks thing now that he kills anyone not at Alexandria?

Carol doesnt want to kill anymore until she does?

Morgan, well still not sure what his deal is.

Darryl is upset or something that its his fault or something about something or something?

Terrible episode.  Lazy lazy lazy writing

When that scene began, I legit thought there were 2 chicks in that shower.

Daryl will be on Talking Dead next week. Hopefully he's washed his hair by then.

The end of episode 15, plus the fact they are promoting Daryl being on the Talking Dead is lead-pipe lock proof that he'll be alive for season 7.

Looks like Copeman got your panties in a bunch this morning ;)

I understand being "frustrated" by episodes like this one.. which I agree had so many :loco: moments.. If you didn't think I felt that way, go back to read my overall recap:
i.e. Carol and Morgan on a Nature hike, Pow wow around a camp fire, etc...

But when people get to a point where they hate the main characters/story lines:

Then it might be time to stop watching as Rick and most of his clan are not going any where until the show ends.
Maybe it was a bit overdramatic to say "all".

I like Maggie. I like Eugene. I like Carl well enough.

But I don't think you get to be the arbiter of TV. You don't get to decide for someone else when they should or shouldn't watch something. Some people watch NASCAR for the wrecks.

and Dam.. Who did  Steven Yeun pay off to get this roll.. every actor on the show, including some actresses must be wondering the same thing watching that shower scene.

In the comics Neegan kills them all and it follows his group from issue 100 to 150.  After that it follows another group.  So, no.

Really upsetting.  Couldn't get a good view of Glenn's junk.  AM I RIGHT????

Morgan, well still not sure what his deal is.
They explained it better this episode.

"All life is precious". Human life is at a premium. If people ever intend on rebuilding society, living humans are the most important resource. And they are a resource that, at this point, are not being reproduced at a rate high enough for sustaining their existence. Humans are dying out. No need to expedite the process.

Morgan takes it to the extreme but I see where he's coming from. If at all possible people should be working together, not killing each other.

I hope he kills them all.
I'm on board with team Gneagun.

These Alexandrian characters have become boring and predictable. Kill them all and let the show move forward with the Saviors.

Wouldn't it be better, more entertaining, to follow this band of bad azes' around taking food, guns, stuff ....

Shakin down the lesser villages and squelching any uprisings against them. ...   in order to survive the apocalypse.

After Morgan got through his reasoning on how he saved the Wolf, who saved Denise, who saved Carl.. I was hoping Rick would have said something along the lines of:

Yea, but had you killed the Wolf the first time he attacked you, he doesn't kidnap Denise, putting her in the position where she needed saving thus your Circle fails

I get it but it just seems lost in the chaos going around.  I mean they have had 2(3?) groups trying to attack Alexandria and he is still playing the peaceful monk role?

:lmao: I was thinking something similar. It was a bad example to use, but his point remains. Human life is the most important resource if people actually intend on rebuilding society.

Definitely taking it to an extreme, which is my biggest issue with Morgan. I had a similar issue with Daredevil.

If someone is trying to kill you, in any society, it is OK to kill them in self-defense when you're out of other options. Risking your own life to spare someone who is trying to kill you isn't helping things.

Then on the complete flip side Ricks "kill them all let God sort them out" mentality is as equally stupid.

That's stupid even by the standards of this show.  99% of the time, having a large piece of metal sewn into the fabric of your dominant arm would be a massive impediment to combat effectiveness.  (Can't aim, can't reload, restricted movement, etc.)  I know this was just one of those things that the writers threw in there because they thought it would be cool, but come on.
Bullets spewing out at that speed would also seem to catch the clothing on fire given all the friction produced in there.

Rick doesn't kill everyone.  Jesus is still alive because Rick didn't think he was worth killing.
Good point but he tried to shoot some random dude with a spear that was looking for his horse.  Which leads to another WTF moment that Rick just through the spear down.  Seems like a great weapon to have.

Forget friction, the muzzle flash alone would accomplish that.

Friction starting fire is way over rated.  I know because my 12 year old **** never started on fire.

Those long spears would really be effective against walkers at the fence.  I bet Rick would have loved to have it when they were at the prison.

Different situation.

He had a valid reason to be suspicious of that guy considering they had just come from the scene of the shoot/stabout and knew there might be Saviors around.

I'm preparing myself for a 6 month cliffhanger. Seems inevitable with how this season has gone. It's really going to be annoying if they don't just wrap things up at the end of the finale. But I doubt they would be so kind to do that. And no, I've never read the comics and have no idea what is coming. Just basing this on the Glenn drama and then last night.

Yeah. That's the ####tiest part.

I don't think that was the point of that comment by Morgan. The whole circle thing was just a convenient way of explaining it to Rick. The point was that when it came down to life or death even the Wolf guy, chose to help a fellow human being, the point being  that nobody is irredeemable.

They won't be able to wrap things up, but hopefully there aren't any ambiguous deaths that need to be resolved next season.  But considering what they did with the whole Glen/dumpster thing, it seems like they have no respect for their audience and will probably put the group in a flaming van that's about to fall over a cliff.

No matter the angle, it will land squarely on all four tires.

Ok 4 prisoners one has to die.

Daryll

Glenn

Michonne

Rosita

One of these is not like the others. I guess they #### out and kill Rosita.

I predict that by the time the Saviors attack Alexandria it will be empty, the entire village having left in groups of one or two in search of other groups, who have left in search of missing groups.
