As was the fact that he didn’t even try to escape. Want to die, try to escape. Worst case you die like you want. Best case you actually escape. That Neegan breakdown was laughably bad

see you next week!!!How can anyone watch that and think it was good? So effing bad. So paint by numbers. It's just comical that it's reach these level of absurdity.
His breakdown showed he wanted to die, but couldn't bring himself to do it.. even a "Suicide by cop" method was beyond his grasp..Yeah if he really wanted to die then just attack Maggie. He hadn't been eating so maybe he was too weak. Kept waiting for him to lull her in and take her down. Don't know why they're keeping the character and re-habbing him to join the community. Why not just kill him and move on to the new story arc? I don't know what happens in the comics, don't read them so maybe there's a reason they're keeping Negan.
breakdown to buy it.Not liking it. It's like they want to get ratings back up so they re-boot the whole series and bring a bunch of new characters in. Not a fan. Show won't be the same without Rick, hope some of the known cast members can keep it afloat.
.. Not sure if it can save the show but at this point, IMO, a reboot is necessary..It was predictable but I enjoyed it. I liked the Shane conversation in the car. Good to see him in that role again. Figured the last person Rick saw would be Glenn but I'm so glad it wasn't Lori and/or Carl.
That horse is fickle on what scares him and when.
I wasn't bothered by the Negan scene. Thought the acting was fine.
So now we have Judith Grimes with the stupid hat.
I thought it would be Glenn and then coral to close it out. Somebody explain why Sasha? I Don't think of her at all in relation to the bigger psycho-emotional component of the show or Rick.It was predictable but I enjoyed it. I liked the Shane conversation in the car. The girl that plays Sasha may have been the only actress available or that was willing to come back to this project.I thought it would be Glenn and then coral to close it out. It was the last scene he shot before he died, according to TTD. I thought it was a nice scene too.And Herschel actor died. Did they shoot that scene with cgi? Or before he died?
Eta. That scene was beautifully ####.
Eta2. Shot not ####.
Lol. I had the same cynical thought, but still hope they're trying for something/anythingThe girl that plays Sasha may have been the only actress available or that was willing to come back to this project.
Comic book people. After losing 137 gallons of blood, he is actually just fine and whisked away to a new community?
The explosion also had no impact on him at all?
Who writes this stuff?
But he got conveniently placed on that soft riverbed next to gpk. It makes perfect sense. To the writers.Mr. Mojo said:After losing 137 gallons of blood, he is actually just fine and whisked away to a new community?

smooI haven’t watched this show in a long, long time. Did they kill him or something?

At least he wasn’t wearing armour like Jaime in thrones. But he got conveniently placed on that soft riverbed next to gpk. It makes perfect sense. To the writers.
and the river wasn't 80' deep a couple yards off the shoreline. At least he wasn’t wearing armour like Jaime in thrones.
maybe. but who knows. that's why you're going to pay the big bucks to go see them.So these Rick Grimes movies, or whatever, are supposed to be about family man Rick Grimes kicking ### somewhere else not even attempting to get back to Michonne (possibly pregnant) and Judith?
She was pretty important in her sacrifice.El Floppo said:I thought it would be Glenn and then coral to close it out. Somebody explain why Sasha? I Don't think of her at all in relation to the bigger psycho-emotional component of the show or Rick.
Maybe Rick has amnesia. Like the beginning of Walking Dead wakes up in a hospital bed, but this time has no idea who he is and what has been going down the last few years. So these Rick Grimes movies, or whatever, are supposed to be about family man Rick Grimes kicking ### somewhere else not even attempting to get back to Michonne (possibly pregnant) and Judith?
They're going to be films made for AMC. They won't be in theaters so no one will have to pay to see them.maybe. but who knows. that's why you're going to pay the big bucks to go see them.
The scene with Shane shows where he got his strength to do what needed to be done.Haven't watched it yet, but, a near death Rick attempting to save the communities dream sequence without Carl makes no sense at all. Everything Rick's done since Carl's death has been about Carl and his vision. Shane? When was the last time they showed any lingering emotions Rick has for Shane? Sasha, wtf? Then the whole End of Rick Grimes campaign they have been on all season just to have him fly off in a helicopter? Boy they sure fooled us!
They're going to be on TVmaybe. but who knows. that's why you're going to pay the big bucks to go see them.
remind me. she zombies out of the coffin, nobody important gets hurt, and.... ?She was pretty important in her sacrifice.

No one important died. I think some random people died. I can't remember, it was a long time ago. She was one of the main characters though.remind me. she zombies out of the coffin, nobody important gets hurt, and.... ?
for sure. I just don't remember her being a moral compass for Rick or the show... seemed like his dream people were all inclined that way, except for her. in relation to the main characters, I'd have thought a Glen or Coral or even Lori would show up to dream-speak to him. Sasha just seemed random- so I've asked the question. No one important died. I think some random people died. I can't remember, it was a long time ago. She was one of the main characters though.
I actually thought of that too. Felt symbolic of him being the walking dead and him leading the way.I think Andrew Lincoln mentioned the dream meetings in an interview as a take on the wizard of oz. Shane was courage (to help Rick get his courage to fight on), Hershel was heart. Sasha, I suppose was brains (stop thinking of yourself in the situation. It's not about you or me, it's about everyone they have lost and those that are still alive.. or something like that). The whole time he was trying to find his family (to go home) and turns out it wasn't Lori, Carl and Judith he needed to find. It was the whole group. That was his family.
Though I don't remember him clicking his boots three times to get home. Although, when he was shuffling his boots while in front of the herd of walkers, it did lean to the idea that he was, and always was, the walking dead. He looked and walked just like those following him.
thought the same thing... was inches away from typing "rick IS the walking dead" last night.I actually thought of that too. I think it was just who's available. Schedulingfor sure. True. Glenn and Carl are in high demand. Lol. Unless they hated the show runners there’s no one aside Shane and Lori that I’ve even seen after they left the show.I think it was just who's available. Scheduling
She burst out attacking Negan, Negan leaned back to the right and she missed, ended up killing one other red shirt savior. Later found by Jesus and Maggie, Maggie finishes her off.remind me. she zombies out of the coffin, nobody important gets hurt, and.... ?
Scheduling is a lame excuse. You could easily have a voice impersonator talking as Carl using flashback cuts of real scenes. It's not the first time a show had to improvise because of contract issues. Most shows wouldn't let that interfere with the telling of the story.I think it was just who's available. Scheduling
they had to wash their hair?>True. Glenn and Carl are in high demand. Lol. Unless they hated the show runners there’s no one aside Shane and Lori that I’ve even seen after they left the show.
even though the explosion would have moved him further away from the water. But he got conveniently placed on that soft riverbed next to gpk. It makes perfect sense. To the writers.
I believe the point was to divert the herd, not necessarily kill it?I forget- fire doesn't kill zombies, right? so there's going to be a horde of crispy zombies washing up down river somewhere if so.
