***OFFICIAL*** Titans @ Steelers Game Thread (1 Viewer)

Steelers don't look good and are getting punched in the f'ing mouth by the Titans.
It is not like they were better then any other top team last year. They just had a good run when it mattered. They will not win it all again, now if they were dominating other top teams last year I would not make the statement.

Pretty much the same story with each of the last 4-5 SB champions...this is today's NFL.

Have any of them repeated? The Pats were the last team and they are pretty special. It is tough to do and you really need a special team to do it. Not saying Pitt is not worthy enough to do it but it is highly unlikely. They won a ton of close games last season. It would be tough to do that again.

Well, I believe only 8 teams have repeated in 42 tries in the SB era, so historically it's only one in five anyway -- dominant or not dominant.Four of those repeats were in the first 14 SBs, so it's only 4 out of the past 28, and only one in the past 10.

Look at that O-line. They may suck all game long and rely on their defense to keep them in games, but in big plays where they have to have it late in the 4th quarter, they always come through. That's why they're one of the best O-lines in the history of the NFL.

I'm going to have to be the first to brag about starting holmes...

Okay... Uh.... I started Santonio Holmes. I'm a genius! :bs: :excited:

Seriously. The Steelers should just stop trying to run the ball.

It's just not this team's identity, and that's perfectly fine. Play to your strengths.
