I wonder if the programmers vary the amount of the load. Or, perhaps its a standard two ounces...On Westworld, do the male robots blow loads? is going to be the next buzzfeed listicle.
That's the FBG standard guy. Can't expect dudes in the real world (or bots even) to manage that.I wonder if the programmers vary the amount of the load. Or, perhaps its a standard two ounces...

ETA - and Bot Butts
Not for a lack of trying on the part of a few choice characters from these parts, though. Also potential Bot Semen - but has not been confirmed.
As well as her dna ....If, as we suspect, Ford is now fabricating a Host replacement for Theresa, the times that Bernard has studied her facial expressions now read as extremely, extremely creepy. He was literally compiling data to make the facsimile more accurate.

Oh I didn't read the article. Just went back to the link after somebody sent the picture to me.The footage of an unseen episode in the article?
Here is just the image you are referring to:

The footage was from the "rest of the season" preview from two weeks ago that HBO aired at the end of the episode. I'm not sure if that qualifies as a spoiler around these parts. The footage of an unseen episode in the article?

Help me with the staged scene where they had the hooker bot go ham on the asian. Why was that a setup, and to what end?
To show she was keeping memories even after having them wiped
And what was the point of giving her a sinus cavity drilling if the intention was to take her out of service, isn't the typical protocol to just burn them? Or was this simply a way to look at her odd nipples one last time? We sure that wasn't a CGI nude there? Looked a little strange.
Where have they been burned? They've show a few times how they disable the hosts before retiring them...basically a lobotomy
The one thing that is annoying is the very lazy plot structure of the Board vs. Whomever. It's always "oooohhh the board wants this" ZOMG. Oh snap the board is ruining my artistic vision. It's just symbolic of the fact that they could afford Anthony ####### Hopkins, but couldn't manage to make a Jerry Jones like character and develop it and instead are acting to paper. Big weak point in my mind.
What?
I don't know how to use quote function hereI swear to god you're not watching this show and just come in and ask questions based off of posts here. Decent shtick![]()
That's what they're trying to make Theresa, no? But I can see what your'e saying, it's even easy for her to just say "but the board says..."Q3 - I'm just critical of a lazy plot hook they keep using. "The Board" could have instead been a specific person "The Owner" who could have been an actor rather than some nebulous/nefarious group of people off camera that are never shown.
I took that as only the out of commission ones....like the smash-head-with-rock dood.I don't know how to use quote function here
WHO DOES???
Q2 - This isn't the case at all, they have at least 5 times said that really bad bots go to the "incinerator". If she has shown tendency to go ham, she should have gotten a bit toasty.
Exactly, why have Theresa if she's just there to be somewhat of an auditor? It's just lazy writing and distracting to have a group with disparate motives off camera that is only spoken of with reverence. Theresa could have played the role of "the owner" just fine. As it is you don't really know what power she really has, and she might end up getting assimilated. That's what they're trying to make Theresa, no? But I can see what your'e saying, it's even easy for her to just say "but the board says..."
Culdeus is clearly a bot.The dual timeline theory is stupid and if that is really what is going on I'm done. It's already going to be annoying dealing with the fact that it's not clear who is a robot and who isn't from this point forward.
If the two timeline theory is true, this will be a point of contention because it was an attempt to trick with editing. The other cuts were more plausible. As my wife pointed out, how could Delores be reacting to a memory of something that happened 30 years later? Does this kill the dual timeline theory, or is there an out clause, or are we just missing something.
The out clause is that was not one continuous scene - we saw the events at the Abernathy ranch - and then the show cut to something else, don't recall what exactly, but it was something else. Then there was a scene with Delores headed to William and Logan's camp. It is plausible that something else drove Delores away from her ranch in William's time frame.Ok, Mrs. Koya just brought up a potential killer to the dual timeline idea...
In the episode where Delores shoots the gun at the bad guy who was going to rape her - if you recall, she has memories of the MIB interchanged with the bad guy standing in front of her, it's the same barn where MIB was "assaulting" her to whatever degree - after she shoots him (prior to that, her code would not let her shoot a weapon), she runs away to escape.
She runs to William and his friend, who were at their campsite "bored out of their minds"
As my wife pointed out, how could Delores be reacting to a memory of something that happened 30 years later? Does this kill the dual timeline theory, or is there an out clause, or are we just missing something.
Proxy BoobsIt's going to be like ####### werewolf played out on HBO with boobs.

Q1 - When Bernard was about to be revealed, he indicated that the whole Asian/Hooker thing was a sham, and she should have seen through it. It wasn't clear to me exactly what part of that setup was a scam and what they were trying to fake and to what end.
The people representing the Board (Theresa and the new lady) were trying to discredit Ford, and come up with grounds to force him to retire. They expected him to fall on his sword to protect Bernard, because the code they blamed for the bot malfunction was his code- the reveries. Bernard and Ford both recognized it was fake, and Clem's going ham were due to sloppy, staged coding from Theresa's team. But, Bernard never did spell out what gave it away.
Also, maybe I'm giving Hopkins too much credit as an actor (doubtful) but his facial expressions and body language during the scene suggest he knows they're making a play against him, but he's staying quiet while he watches it play out. There even seemed to be a little hand gesture where he could have been trying to shut Clem down, like he has with all the other bots, when the security guy couldn't get her to shut down. He looked bemused when it didn't work- but that's definitely could be me reading too much into it.
Q2 - This isn't the case at all, they have at least 5 times said that really bad bots go to the "incinerator". If she has shown tendency to go ham, she should have gotten a bit toasty.
The new lady rep said they were going to wipe all of the infected bots clean and re-boot their code. That was when she fired Bernard. I imagine that's for two reasons: 1. They know there's really nothing that drastically wrong with the bots, because it was a set-up. 2. There's too many bots to incinerate and re-create from scratch.
Q3 - I'm just critical of a lazy plot hook they keep using. "The Board" could have instead been a specific person "The Owner" who could have been an actor rather than some nebulous/nefarious group of people off camera that are never shown.
El Floppo already answered this, but I think the role of the Board is a slow-play that will develop as the story goes on. Especially if the MIB and William/Logan are part of Delos, which seems pretty likely.
Let's hear em.I've got more plot holes coming out of this episode than the first 7 combined.
You've got two dead humans in this park in two days (unless they're time-jumping here, which would be cheap IMO).Let's hear em.
TBH, so far your track record of paying attention to the show isn't so hot, but the show is definitely spreading itself thin, so shoot.
Only one dead human that they know about...You've got two dead humans in this park in two days (unless they're time-jumping here, which would be cheap IMO).
There is no conceivable scenario I can imagine her slitting his throats without setting off alarms. These areas unmonitored?
You think you can conceal in murder in that place? IDK, how Maeve came to be is stretching how far I'd let them take this without saying "come on."Only one dead human that they know about...
Maybe I misunderstood what they showed, but I assumed when they cauterized his wound, it saved his life so no murder just yet.You think you can conceal in murder in that place? IDK, how Maeve came to be is stretching how far I'd let them take this without saying "come on."
