So the three timelines are:

1. Delores in a dress (Arnold is alive and Delores kills him, and she and teddy kill most original hosts). 

2. Delores stabbed, bleeding, and with William. Around 30 years ago -- after Arnold is dead. 

3. Dolores in similar outfit, but not stabbed/bleeding. Present day seeking Arnold and the maze after Ford purposely removes Teddy from her loop, setting her free to explore again. MIB finds her at the church.  We see the other two times through her memories here. There are seemingly other times she took this journey as well and we see those flashes of memory through all timelines.

yeah, Bernard's silhouette never moved from the position in the frame as Ford was walking away.  I even rewound and went frame by frame just to be sure.

The ONLY thing I can think of is that when he fired the shot there was a flash on the shooting side of his head and the exit side of his head.  Not sure if there would be a flash on the exit side of his head unless he was holding the gun BEHIND his head and intentionally missed.  Yeah, it's a small probability that is what happened, but with this show you never know.

This is presuming the end goal or at least the next step of "the maze" was him finding a sentient Dolores. The A to B to C of the MIB quest never made any sense to me and still doesn't.

I'm also really confused about the Teddy story. He thinks he helped "Wyatt" (who is a new backstory btw just introduced by Ford) start a mutiny and kill their entire unit. But then we see him remembering killing all the townsfolk in the same place Dolores killed all the townsfolk. Then Teddy dies, so maybe he doesn't even matter? 

I don't know. I tend to pick things apart too much, and don't like to have to use my imagination to make a story make sense, but the logical progression of this show isn't really working for me right now.

I guess spending too much time online and pretty much knowing that Bernard was a replica of Arnold made that reveal less shocking. I was thinking that Bernard was actually a download of Arnold's conscious. But he was just an imitation. And now he's dead too. I doubt Ford will bring him back. 

With only one episode to go, I'm a bit whatever about this.

I am still holding out hope that Arnold is still alive, and he has Elsie, and the security dude.

maybe he planted the memory into Bernard somehow. :shrug:

I also think the first delores timelime is after arnold's death and she keeps coming back to the church and it is once ford creates bernard that things get better and ends that timeline. 

 
So when in these timelines was her visit that all the s*** was all f***** up with the bodies laying around below and all that

It's kinda weird to see my 2 month old theory play out exactly like I guessed.

For those of you lamenting the loss of Bernard, please remember he's a bot, pretty likely he'll be back with his memory of what we saw wiped clean.

What's more intriguing me now... Teddy is apparently Wyatt?  Or Delores is Wyatt?  Both have had flashbacks of being the one behind the massacre.

And MiB and an awoken-ish Delores going to have a catch up chat in the chapel... that should bring more clarity.

The Maeve robot uprising is cool but somehow the least interesting thing happening.  I guess that speaks to how good the show is.

I doubt that.  They certainly played this time as different than the other times Ford wipes his memory.  If that were Ford's plan, why would he have Bernard shoot himself and then leave him to be found? 

 
I enjoyed the Bernard = Arnold reveal but that's about it. Barring something miraculous happening next week, don't think I'll be back for Season 2 and will instead watch some NCIS reruns that are more up my alley.

Seems like Dolores would occasionally make it back to the church in the past. Then Ford put Teddy there as a check on her. Then Ford purposely removes Teddy and puts him into the Wyatt story. So he releases Dolores and puts teddy on a quest and he does nothing to stop MIB.

So what is going on?

Time strings all over the place. Maybe Ford doesn't know about Dolores going rogue, since the scenes we saw in earlier episodes were the real Arnold (not Bernard) interviewing her? But, he'd have to know about Maeve, unless she is somehow super powered enough to completely erase her interaction with Bernard? The whole Teddy=Wyatt thing has me confused.

and what time is the meeting between Dolores and MIB in the church with the steeple? It's covered over and buried in the "present day" timeline, right? They said there wouldn't be any cliffhangers in the final episode, so the next one has got a lot to tie up.

the town was recently excavated.

I still don't think that MiB/Dolores meeting in the church is in MiB's current timeline. Feels like he's part of that memory in Dolores. If it was current MiB he'd be getting the Dolores in a dress

The church being buried is a good point. So when is mib then?  4 time lines???

 
I like the show a list but this is getting way too confusing. They could dial it back a bit. 4 timelines? Get the #### out of here.

It has to do with Ford's new narrative, which is something the show has been playing closer to the vest.

I think Delores is in Pants from the William/Logan time frame on - when she reaches the church

I thought she arrived in pants - not stabbed - was in her dress when she was downstairs, but was in pants when she came back up?  Very good chance I am mis-remembering though - traveling all day yesterday, so a bit tired watching the show.

No. William turned black hat last night and showed great disdain for hosts who are not enlightened like dolores. Now we need to see why he seems to have some grudge towards her in present day. 

Also, if the maze was just finding the church, that is lame.

Delores appears to have been following the loop, alone, in the current/MiB timeframe.  Presumably, if she changed clothes in Pariah in the timeframe when she was with William, she would also change clothes after reaching Pariah in her own current loop. 

What complicates things is that there are times, where the "current" version of Delores appears to be interacting with a memory of a person.

Remember when William and Delores have parted ways with Lawrence, and go down to the river where they see the bodies of the ambush team that have been killed by the Ghost Nation?  Delores goes off to the river while William stays with the wounded host.  Delores sees herself lying dead in the river.  She then speaks to William where she asks, "when am I?"  The Delores who sees herself in the river (where she presumably lies dead after being stabbed by Logan in the "William" timeframe) is in the current timeframe.  When she's speaking to William there, she's speaking to a memory of William just as she speaks to a memory of Arnold in the lab under the church last night.

IMO, current Dolores we haven't seen since she got shot and fled(not shot) to William/Logan*. Her story line since ep3 has been in the past with different levels of memories we see her having(almost like inception) 

*Ford has flat out said that hosts get lost in their memories and that's exactly what it seems like Dolores is going through.
