I was stuck last time around on which of three catchers to pick, so I punted and one made it back:Tim McCarver Cardinals

The result is Im usually mulling over multiple names with it is already my pick.

How can you not, really? Don't people have to evaluate possible plateaus at positions they may want to punt? Or the likelihood that their Plan B guy will fall if they pass on Plan A guy?

The franchise angle is more complicated than I expected it to be. In some ways, it's tougher than alphabet soup was. The talent is more evenly distributed across franchises so locking out each team has progressively more impact on drafting strategy. In the alphabet league, there were some letters that were so deep you were relatively assured of being able to fill a gap by saving the letter. In this format, not so much.

Pretty much my sentiments. That said, I will need a filler at 2B for about 150-200 PAs, but won't worry too much about defense if I get cornered there late.

I should have grabbed Dickey when I had a chance, as it was he, Harnett and Cochrane before it was time to punt for a bit. May be missing someone as I'd have crossed certain franchises off my list.

Tre's trying to incite a riot is my guess.

But with the franchise rules, it may be harder to piece together a decent catcher than usual. That's why I went Campy a few rounds ago.

But with the franchise rules, it may be harder to piece together a decent catcher than usual. That's why I went Campy a few rounds ago.

Yeah, I picked Fisk a round too early because I didn't want to have to worry about finding 250 catcher PAs in the late rounds. 636 PAs of decent offense w/ an A+ arm is nice to have.
