got it...Just decided to read the rules, didn't even realize there was an extra time, penalty shootout drag down 
Quick question though,
If I have Home team 2 vs Away Team 1 in the semi's, and Home team advances via penalty shoot out - and I have the winner advancing without denoting such, how are the points distributed in that event?

The points will be calculated in the sheet based on who makes the next round, not how they got there...
Same thing for 1st/2nd place in group. If you have the right team advancing to the knockouts you get the points, irregardless if you had them finishing 1st or 2nd.
ETA: It's really the only way to take all the possible scenarios in account, without making things too complex or manual. Now I just compare the teams in a given round, with teams predicted to have made that round and award points accordingly.

The ET (e) flag doesn't really do anything in the calculations, it's just there for your own purposes (could show teams being fatigued in later rounds).

I need to figure out a good way to do the layout for the first (results) sheet in the Master_Excel...
Ideally I would like to have the ability to enter in results as they happen, have the group tables update at the same time, as well as having our poolstandings update next to them. Running out of real estate though...

Per FIFA penalty kick goals does not count for the official tally. So, in order to get the correct count of goals scored, you would do 2-2 and flag the winning team with the (p). In the sheet, a 3-2 win whether in ET or in regulation counts towards the total goals scored.Question - if I do 2-2 in the results and then pull down the "p" flag is that the correct way to do a penalty-kick victory? Or is that supposed to be 3-2? Do the penalty kick victory "goals" count in the total or not?

It's really not that hard to learn though. The formulas are pretty basic.

Just get it in some time today guys... The main reason for capping this before the weekend is because I need time to create the master sheet. I am actually way ahead of the game on that, so if no one is opposed, I am ok with extending the deadline to Sunday night to maximize how many people we get...
