Yeah this isn't my life.  "Honey I'm going to the gym for two hours."
If you can't carve an hour out of your day to do essentially the one natural thing we humans can do to improve our health, then your priorities are out of whack.

And you're in your 40's, are over weight, have a stressful job, and (I believe) a family history of heart disease.  Not trying to be to crazy but you have every risk factor there is for heart problems sooner rather than later.  And if you do develop heart disease it's a roll of the dice if you survive the first attack or not. 

 
On a positive note I'm off my *** and in the weight room.  Afterwards around 50 minutes on the hamster wheel.  Then helping the wife prepare the house for our super bowl party.  Then the daughter is going to a sleep over and then who knows...

So as it turns out having a kid have unexpected major surgery and taking care of them for the week isn't great for weight loss.

(Kid is doing well, but  :porked: )

 
Potatoes and 3 eggs for breakfast

4 oz chicken breast with peppers and onions and potatoes for lunch.

Meatloaf, roasted potatoes and broccoli for dinner.

Will be lucky to lose 2 lbs this week, not cause I've been eating any different, this is just how it goes now, need to be prepared for that.

 
Crickets in here.  It's cold outside, all you fat bastards had better not be just laying around feeding your faces!
 I didn't work out today but I did hit the weights 4 days this week and did cardio 6 days. I did eat right on target though today.  

Eating right will be tough tomorrow.   I am working out tomorrow to offset some of the damage.  

I'm really looking forward to a few wings. 

 
Another good day. Ate below my calories and went on the elliptical. Loving my Fitbit... Except I just ate an edible. Told my wife whatever happens keep me out of the closet.

277 this morning.  Down another 2.4.  Very pleased with that result.  Find myself eating less and not stuffing myself to overfull.  Had 1 piece of meatloaf, one scoop of potatoes and some broccoli.  In the past I would have had 3 slices easy and a heap of potatoes.

Breakfast, oatmeal and banana.

Making pulled chicken with homemade BBQ sauce for dinner with potatoes and salad.  Have some pizza rolls and pizza for the kids for appetizers and will be a making a little guac for myself. 

 
Setting up the deep fryers for the super bowl... Might need to weigh in today :lol: ... The lineup of food going into them is staggering. :excited:

 
The drop from tomorrow's weigh in to next Monday's is going to be off the charts.  Forget calories even (just for this minute), the salt change alone will cause a massive swing.

Just got back from the gym...chest and tris.  Still mulling over a run.

 
Figure I'm going to have a net gain for the week but I don't care. Enjoying myself at a Super Bowl party.  Ate what I wanted but did eat excessively.  I'll try and double down on healthy eating and exercise this week.
