Didn’t see that coming. Season 3 was worth the wait. Season 4 can’t come soon enough.Woah

Yeah, the passage of time is pretty awkward throughout....all the back and forths to KC, Mexico, D.C...even a Chicago trip. How quickly did Nelson catch up to Ben in Tennessee? How long did it take to bring together The REO Speedwagon/Dentist convention? Or the charity event? How much time has passed since agent Miller told us she was due in 6 weeks? A whole lot of activity in that time. This show is awesome. I love how they assume getting from the ozarks to kc Is like a 20 minute drive.

Nah, they already talked the dentists out of going there...I am waiting for the Byrds to make a trip to Branson.
Totally agree, but on a related note, I said to my wife as we were watching that if Tom Pelphrey (Ben) does not get Emmy consideration as a guest actor, it will be a travesty. He was a sensational character and played the range of emotions superbly. If Linney doesn't at least get an Emmy nomination this time, it's a major crime.
I was thinking that, too. It is literally impossible to scam or beat the system in a casino the way they did to push that old couple out.One general note about this season: Worst security in a casino ever.
Yep...all three of themOne general note about this season: Worst security in a casino ever.
Season 3 is 10/10.
Stunning cinematography, story-telling, and acting. Laura Linney, Julia Garner, and Tom Pelphrey are revelations. To name three.
he didn't touch no ####in scale!BTW, for those of you thinking the actor playing Navarro looks familiar (which I was), he was in the Sopranos episode The Happy Wanderer. He was the fish guy that Chrissy was missing with (Chrissy accused him of putting his finger on the scale).
We just finished S3 last night. Fantastic, often pretty intense and absorbing. I was somewhat ambivalent about the first 2 seasons, liked the show but didn’t necessarily love it. This season was great and I was hugely disappointed when I realized we had finished it.Mister CIA said:Season 3 is 10/10.

Hah, made me want to add it to my YouTube list. Loved that song back in college.Skipdog77 said:For me, the biggest tragedy in Season 3 is the fact that I have had "It's Time For Me to Fly" in my head for 3 days.
Damn you, Jason Bateman!
Imagine what the actor who plays Wyatt probably thought when he got the script and got to that scene. Both wife and I were repeatedly “ewwww” ing over Darlene and Wyatt![]()
looking at his imdb and then googling, i also see that he was brought back during the final season as the job supervisor who coco beats for not kicking up.BTW, for those of you thinking the actor playing Navarro looks familiar (which I was), he was in the Sopranos episode The Happy Wanderer. From what I've read, they haven't even started filming Season 4 yet and with the current environment, it may be awhile until it comes back. :(I hope we don't have to wait 2 years for Season 4. My favorite series on Netflix right now. S3 was superb.![]()
I read somewhere that a Season 4 hasn't even yet been greenlit by Netflix. From what I've read, they haven't even started filming Season 4 yet and with the current environment, it may be awhile until it comes back. :(

Was searching for the same thing over the weekend when we finished the season. Came across an article that quoted the showrunners a year ago as saying they envision 5 seasons most likely but could potentially go 4 or 6 depending on how things go reception-wise and how they write out the story.Looks like that isn't unusual though. Apparently Netflix usually announces a new season for Ozark about a month after the current season airs.
Ozark Season 4
"Reception-wise" worries me, as I would hate to see them stretch it out and make it too long just because a lot of people are watching. Let the story resolve itself naturally and end it there. Two more seasons sounds about right. Was searching for the same thing over the weekend when we finished the season. Yeah, hard to say exactly what they meant. In this case, I think they were more just being cautious as Netflix has no problem cancelling things so he didn't want to definitively say 5 seasons and they only are given 4."Reception-wise" worries me, as I would hate to see them stretch it out and make it too long just because a lot of people are watching. I hate Wendy's brother. He is annoying as hell but a good actor.i hate wendy with the hate of a thousand hate suns burning full of anger and hatred and basically i try to find the good in everyone but man i do not like her thats all i have to say about that take that to the bank bromigos
Seeing them get away with it all would be too unrealistic; I hope they don't go that route. As smart and crafty as Wendy and Marty both are, they are both in a little over their heads in the sense that neither is as evil and diabolical as Navarro or Darlene or Frank, and there will be too many forces working against them for them to get away with it all, IMO.So, how does this end? Do Marty and Wendy stay together? Do they both live? Prison or do they get away with it all? A ton of possibilities.
