...........I expect another 62 yd, 0 td performance. Of course I have no option but to start him.Cincy's defense isnt as bad as people think they are. Theyre still below average but theyve held down some top RBs like Jacobs, Jamal, & Barber
guess it depends on the paper.I'd be surprised if this is true, Washington the starter that is. He just isn't the type back that Mangini want to grind out the tough yards on a week-to-week basis.Someone in my league sent me this said he got it from some NY paper.
Leon Washington [RB, Jets] - Latest out of the Jets camp is that Washington has passed up Thomas Jones as the No. 1 runningback. This could be a changing of the guard as the Jets look to a younger back to take over the load. Jones has looked less than stellar this season, so Leon should continue to increase his workload.
I have yet to hear that, actually. Is there a link from Mangini? I thought it was very telling that Jones received every single carry in the 4th Q against AZ two weeks ago. Just don't see Leon as anything bbut a great special teamer and COP back this year - barring injury or absolutely dreadful play from TJ (which I think is unlikely).brednbuddah said:As much as I hate to admit it, but I have to agree with the general concensus here.I'm sick of making excuses for Jones so far, he's basically an RB3 right now.It doesn't sound like it's getting any better either. Rumors of Washington getting an increased role, Chatman getting GL carries.
If you have not been watching the Bengals this year, they took the Giants into overtime in a game they shoulda/coulda won and came back and made a game out of it in Dallas this past week. They are playing hard. I doubt the Jets roll in this game and they could easily beat the Jets.Garts said:TJ playing the Bengals.....either Favre throws another 6 TDS or Jones lights it up...if he craps the bed this week....I completely throw in the towel.
just rumors at this point. no link. I have seen the other thread speculating Washington as the #1 back. I haven´t seen any credible news source supporting that at all.I have yet to hear that, actually. Is there a link from Mangini?
