If Delhomme is healthy, he is better than fine. There is a notion out there that he is washed up, and as long as he does not have lingering effects from his injury, he will could be a very nice sleeper this year (think Brees two years ago). In 2006, he had a rough year which started the speculation, but last year in three games he had 8 TDs to 1 Int, and a QB rating of 111. After he was gone they fell apart, which goes to show how inportant he is to that team. They may draft another QB as he will be 33 going into the season, but for the next two years, I cannot think of a FA QB that would come in (in the short-term over those two years) and put up better numbers than he. He will have his two WRs (Smith and Moose) with whom he did his most damage with.
We all know another QB will be coming into town next year. I would rather see them bring in a rookie, as I am not sure Moore is the answer, yet with a year under his belt, he could hold fort for some time, while the rookie gamis his confidence. Guys like Henne and the big kid from Delaware did well at the combine (projected 2nd and 3rd round picks prior to the combine), while Brohm and Ryan may find themselves slipping. I think there is a possibility one of those four could slip to Carolina in Round Three (with the Jets pick)...mostly likely being Henne.
