Patrick Laird, RB MIA (1 Viewer)

I'm also going to sit Laird as my RB2 for Mostert given the ceiling. With McCafrey as my RB1, I think it's worth taking a shot at the bigger upside. Laird was solid last week, so he's pretty safe, though.

Like I said earlier, my opponent has Lamar and Ingram. I think Laird is a high floor option at my flex; I gotta swing for the fences now--eyeballing Lockett and McLaurin instead.

Odd that we have similar teams.   I'm using Lockett as my WR2 but am more afraid of the McLaurin gamble than Laird.

Well, hope you swung with McLaurin. Happy with Lockett’s production at the flex, so it worked out (had AJBrown and Godwin in my WR slots). My opponent swamped me with touchdowns—he has CMC and Parker. So, I’m off to the third place game, even though I had the second highest score of the week. Hope you’re still alive...

Well that was pretty much a dud, eh? He looked slower and frailer than most NFLers in highlights, and he looked it in the game.

Np surprise there.

Patrick Laird rushed 12 times for 46 yards and caught 2-of-5 targets for eight yards in the Dolphins' Week 15 loss to the Giants.

Laird has been the most effective runner since the Kenyan Drake trade and is now seeing double-digit touches every week. It will be an uphill climb for Laird to get in the end zone with the Dolphins playing inconsistent football, but his receiving work keeps him in the flex mix, especially in positive matchups. Miami is hosting the Bengals next week and can be penciled in for 10-16 touches.

Played this fool over Perriman; lost.
I reacted sad, but I'm really there laughing with you, brother.

Started him at RB over Conner, moved Conner to late night flex because of tag.

On bench: Miller and Amendola. Miller had 28 in PPR. Would have been gold, Jerry, gold! Instead, I'm going to lose handily on Mon.

Back to Laird: He looks slow and not deserving of starting a professional football game. It's hard to believe that Zach Zenner wouldn't look better. (I thought Miami signed Zenner for some reason.)

NYG with windy weather seemed like a good idea, didn't it? At least this is my "fun league" with hardly any cash payout. Still, a free lunch is a free lunch :(

Unfortunately I went w Laird over McLaurin and A Miller in the flex spot.   I'm still alive but my opponent has Thomas tonight.  Of the 3 players to choose from, I decided on the worst.   Either of the WRs would guaranteed a win and locked up a SB birth.  Ugh.
