In the Pats - Colts game yesterday, the Colts players were fired up to start the game, and the fans were into it.
On the Colt's 1st or 2nd play from scrimmage, a Patriot's player (I believe it was Seymour) needed an injury timeout. In my opinion, this stoppage of play quieted down the crowd, and when play resumed, the Colts had lost some of that initial edge.
So I guess there are two questions. One, do you think Belichick told his guy to fake an injury for this purpose, and if so, would you consider it unacceptable football ethics or smart coaching? Or is this common practice with most teams?
