People are waiting in line outside the Circuit City here (1 Viewer)

There are at least 25 people lined up outside a new Chick-Fil-A that opens later this week. I live in a giant metro area that has probably at least 29 Chick-Fil-A's already.

one time i lined up outside a chick filat for like a week and then finally one of the workers came out and said sir we have been open for over a year just come inside man was my face red take that to the bank brohans

I keep telling you guys they're lining up to be in queue because they're lonely at heart. No derision in the world will stop them.

/pretty much getting away from already being away from it all

I just had Chick-Fil-A for the first time ever last night... True story..

There's one no more than 12 minutes up the same road.

I imagine they get something for free, but still.
On a grand opening of a Chic they give the first 100 people a ticket to get a free meal a week for one year.

When the Dunkin Donuts by us just opened, they too had a line around the building and the first 50-100 people got free coffee for a year. What I couldn’t figure out is there were probably 250+ people there. Wouldn’t you think to do the basic math and count the number of people ahead of you and realize that, as number 250, you aren’t getting the free coffee.

Ok. Free meal a week. Some quick math says that's in the range of 400-450 bucks? I guess that's worth it to some.

I read once that the businesses pay people to line up outside before their opening to produce fake hype.

They probably thought they could out last the others that were there longer.

Not much of a story.
Sorry... I guess I could have gave a little more detail.

I stopped there on my way home from a drunken weekend at a clothing optional B&B.. While there, I ran into a girl I knew and loaned her 3 racks.. We then proceeded to go back to her apartment where I soaked the walls..  She ended up pregnant, but hasn't told her husband yet..he believes she was on a camping trip.

Well done...

Prime Oats right here.

Now instead of mocking the little people from his New York apartment in the sky while banging a revolving door of hot chicks, Oats spends his days reviewing security footage of his front door.

Lmao

Man, wait’ll my BIL sees the steal I got on this sweet 42” Emerson plasma that I’m gonna throw out in two years when I buy a Samsung.

Uhhhhhh we bought some pajamas for the kid Oats. 3 pairs I think? Not sure what you think we’re doing out there. Got a cold brew at Starbucks. Just had some more pie and put the brisket on the smoker for tomorrow.

Just got back from a massive mall. My wife really wanted to go, so either I go with her and contemplate murder or I let her go alone and contemplate suicide when she returns. It was a madhouse, but we lucked out and got the best parking spot possible. There was a freaking line to get into GameStop, but we wanted a few AAA games so we stood in it for a few minutes while I investigated the possibility of purchasing online. Lo and behold the same deals were available on the website so we ditched the line. I would say 60% of the crowd was young people looking for booty. It was weird.

I have to drop my car off at the mechanic anyway, and I haven't been out today since the original Wii came out.

What could go wrong?
I’m going to the used piano store today. I don’t think they have any Black Friday specials, but it’s near the mall. I’m not looking forward to the traffic.

As we were driving home from my folks we passed a Best Buy - about 100 people waiting outside for it to open.  I ask the wife, can I circle around and take a quick picture of these idiots to send to someone?  She and my daughter both ask me who I want to send it to and I tell them don’t worry, you don’t know them.  That satisfies my daughters curiosity but my wife gets this knowing look on her face, rolls her eyes and asks “do you even know them?”   :lmao:

Damn I’ve been coming here for too long.  And sorry boys - no pic.

thanks for reminding me that every restaurant within reasonable driving distance is going to be crammed full of angry wives & exhausted dead-eyed husbands at lunch today.

guess i'll just eat whatever got left in the office refrigerator.

SORRY, DON. YOUR FAULT FOR LEAVING A HALF EATEN SANDWICH IN THE FRIDGE ON WEDNESDAY.

Dang, was really hoping you didn't figure this out so I could point at you and laugh Otis-style. :kicksrock:
