Percy Harvin and AP missing from Practice FRI (1 Viewer)

No Adrian Peterson at #Vikings practice. Doesn't bode well for Sunday. Also no Percy Harvin or Fred Evans. Harvin has the rib thing.

Well least time I checked if you don't practice at all on Friday. It doesn't bode well for you playing on Sunday. Especially when he practiced on Wed and Thur. Its def a concern for me.

Harvin has missed so many practices and then played that I think they're giving him some time off to rest the rib thing. Or perhaps it's to stave off the migraines. Regardless, I wouldn't count him out.

According to "VikingsNow" on twitter (no idea who that is, but it's on the Vikings feed I used), Harvin is out with an illness, not a rib issue. He is expected to play. They also noted that the illness is NOT a migraine.

I'm with you. I have Harvin and the Denver defense, so I figure that I'm covered either way. If anyone scores for the Vikes, it will probably be Harvin.

Yeah, he verified that it was just an illness. I think he got a little annoyed with me, but his original comment was misleading when he mentioned Harvin being out and said "Harvin has the rib thing"...but didn't mention an illness. He was nice enough about it though...seems like a good guy. It's nice to have the local guys who are willing to respond to questions. The Panthers beat writers are really good about things like that around here as well.
