Peyton & Eli Manning - alternate MNF program: ‘The ManningCast’ (1 Viewer)

I liked Ochocinco last night, but is there something wrong with his eyes as the reason for the sunglasses?

For the final ManningCast of the season on ESPN2 for tonight’s Eagles-Buccaneers super wild-card game, Peyton and Eli Manning will welcome Hall of Famer Ray Lewis and Tampa’s former Super-Bowl winning head coach Bruce Arians.

Eh, those guests are why I skipped it. Arians has too much arrogance for me to listen to, and if I wanted to hear someone talk like Ray Lewis, I'd still be going to church on Sundays.

This week was great but Saban didn’t loosen up for it at all. He was the worst guest since it started. The Mannings threw him queues to riff on a play here and there & dude just kept droning on and on about his program, recruiting, etc. it’s as tough Saban wasn’t even watching the game. Plus he was boring & monotonic. I kept thinking, “whoa - people get fired up to play for this bump on a log? Really?”

All the other guests were great. Stafford seems like a terrific guy & i’m even happier to roster him now, even though it means rooting for the Rams. 🤢
What is &amp?

Why did you attribute this quote to me? Copy/paste gone awry?

ETA: I may have said it - I can’t remember that far back.

Maybe I did say it. lol

Now I can’t remember.

As for the question, I have no idea why it put those in there.

Also why are you replying to months old posts?

I was reading it and noticed the funky characters and wondered why. I believe I’ve seen this before in my posts when you cut and paste from some documents or websites. No biggie.

Yeah, I don’t think I C&P’d anything. That would be weird. I’m bad enough representing my own dumb opinions.

I've seen it here on FBG when quoting posts from long ago.
But I don't know how long ago "long ago" is.
It inserts the &amp thing. I'm guessing it's doing so where a & was originally used.

& is indeed html for &. When the board moved to the new provider some old posts had some minor conversion issues.

Aha!

An explanation. I’d also forgotten the board migrated. lol

I usually love the Manning cast, but Peyton is getting on my nerves tonight.. Too bad BS while the game is on about partying, and he is like screaming.

ManningCast Week 2 Tonight: Guest List, Schedule, How To Watch, and More

ManningCast Week 2 Guests

ESPN announced before the season that Bill Belichick would join Peyton and Eli Manning this season as a regular guest on the ManningCast. However, that’s not stopping the brothers from bringing in other high-profile names. Here’s a look at the Week 2 ManningCast guest list.

  • Miles Teller
Miles Teller is an American actor born in Downingtown, Penn., in Feb. 1987. He has two older sisters, Erin and Dana. He attended New York University, where he studied method acting at the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute. He earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in drama in 2009.

His career started in 2010 in the film “Rabbit Hole” after Nicole Kidman picked him for the role. He also starred in the 2011 remake of “Footloose.” His breakout came from the 2014 movie “Whiplash,” in which he plays a drummer trying to impress his jazz teacher, played by J.K. Simmons.

He was also known for his roles as Peter Hayes in the “Divergent” series and Mister Fantastic in the 2015 “Fantastic Four” reboot. More recently, in 2022, he starred in “Top Gun: Maverick.” Teller is a massive Eagles fan and is one of many perfect guests, as he’s seen in the stands at countless Philadelphia games.

  • Matt Ryan
The other guest is former Falcons franchise quarterback Matt Ryan. The Falcons drafted “Matty Ice” with the third pick of the 2008 NFL Draft after a very successful college career with the Boston College Eagles.

Ryan started for the Falcons immediately and led the team to a playoff appearance in his rookie season, earning him Offensive Rookie of the Year honors. He led Atlanta to six playoff appearances, including three NFC South titles.

During his best season in 2016, Ryan led the Falcons to a Super Bowl appearance while sweeping at the NFL Honors, earning NFL MVP and Offensive Player of the Year. Despite his impressive season, Atlanta fell to the Patriots after New England came back from a staggering 28-3 deficit. Ryan finished his NFL career with a 65.6% completion percentage, passing for 62,792 yards, 381 touchdowns, and 183 interceptions.
