ESPN Countdown just reported Plax to be a GTD with lower back spasms; however, he expects to play barring any further setbacks.

NFL Network's Albert Breer reports that Plaxico Burress will play through his tight back in Week 9.

Burress was listed as questionable after being limited in Thursday and Friday's practices. The Jets all along expected him to play, though we aren't confident he'll be 100 percent. Burress can always save you with a red-zone touchdown, but he's averaging under 35 yards a game through seven appearances.
