Yes would love to see the Vikings win as well. Anything can happen in the NFL. Hoping that Seattle and NE get eliminated quickly. Thinking a KC vs. AZ would be a great SB
I'd prefer KC/Carolina, having lived in both states (Kansas, not Missouri) and friends are fans of both.Yes would love to see the Vikings win as well. Anything can happen in the NFL. Hoping that Seattle and NE get eliminated quickly. Thinking a KC vs. AZ would be a great SB
Agreed with your beliefs but add that Brady can put his team on his shoulders and beat any team. The pats scare me but I can't put them in to win the conference.Seems like least predictable season ever.
Some things I believe.
*The two best teams in the NFL right now will meet in round two of the playoffs, Seattle at Carolina.
*The three best teams in the NFL all play in the NFC
*I believe KC and Pittsburgh, right now, are the two best teams in the AFC. But not overly confident of either winning today and that's how I feel about the AFC in a nutshell.
*I might be blinded by my rooting interest.
Predictions:
KC over Houston
Pitt over Cincy
Seattle over Minny
Skins over Green Bay
KC over NE
Pitt over Denver
Carolina over Seattle
Arizona over Skins
Pitt over KC
Carolina over Arizona
Pittsburgh over Carolina
Last year, injuries didn't throw the league into haywire. Those stats from last season are useless.Since a number of people are taking the Steelers to at least get to the SB, I looked into how much I want to buy into that. (I have them losing to NE in the AFCCG).
This season with Ben at QB, in road games PIT went 3-3 with a scoring differential of +16 points. Last year, with a similar roster, they went 5-3 with a differential of +9 points. Combining last year and this year, with Ben at QB, PIT went 8-6 with a +25 point scoring differential. Compare that to them playing at home with Ben the past two seasons (11-4 with a +129 scoring differential).
The last time they beat three 10 win teams in a row on the road was 2005 (when they won the SB as a wildcard).
Not at all. HFA gives those terrific defenses the added crowd noise bonus. The #1 seeds have met in the last two super bowls. I just picked it to happen again. Bad idea?
It's funny how many people have no clue how the seeding works. Panthers/Seahawks NFC championship game is impossible.Chiefs over Texans (duh)
Steelers over Bengals
Seahawks over Vikings
Packers over Redskins
Broncos over Steelers
Patriots over Chiefs
Panthers over Packers
Seahawks over Cardinals
Broncos over Patriots
Panthers over Seahawks
Panthers over Broncos
Round 2 going all home teams:This weekend:
KC
Cinn
Sea
GB
I'm sure a lot of people would love to see the Broncos advancePatriots
Broncos
Seahawks
Green Bay
And the moans and groans are heard worldwide as these are the last 4 teams anyone wants to see advance, aside from their respective fan bases.
If Ben or brown aren't healthy I'll need to change this as Pittsburgh will lose without those guys.Carolina vs Pittsburgh
CarolinaRound 2 going all home teams:This weekend:

7 of 8 so far and I'm still fairly comfortable with my remaining selections.Looks like going chalk when the games look close to call was a viable plan this year after all.I don't think you'll do well for the simple reason that you do nothing but pick favourites. Honestly, it just doesn't happen very often.Seems like this year I'm finding a lot more "pick 'em" type games deeper into my bracket than usual, so I'll probably embarrass myself with these predictions, but here goes:
KC over Hou
Pitt over Cin (heart pick)
Wash over GB
Sea over Min
-----------------------
Den over Pitt
NE over KC
Car over Sea
Ari over Wash
-------------------
NE over Den
Car over Ari
---------------
NE over Car
Betcha one of KC or PIT disappoints tomorrow, and I betcha for SURE one of those home teams loses in the divisional round. I don't see any way NE, DEN and CAR all win. They're all very suspect teams IMO despite records. Particularly Carolina against an experienced Seattle team, and Denver with OldManManning.
