Postseason Subscriber Contest is LIVE (1 Viewer)

For this weekend's games, here are the number of live entries grouped by the max number of scores they'll get (8 is the max since you can only count 2 players from each of the 4 remaining teams):

Here are the live entries, grouped by how many players they'd have in each of the four possible Super Bowl matchups:

This is what I'd have guessed would be required before the contest even started if you assume the SB will be played between two teams that had first round byes (if there are wild card teams in the mix you'd need more like 9+ to stand a chance).

Let's look at the highest possible scores for each Super Bowl combo left and how many points they'd need to find from eliminated teams.

Since none of these teams played in week 1 all such entries would need 66.60 points from other teams.

For week 2:

Carolina-New England entries with (Olsen/Stewart/Brady/Gronk) needed 18.25 more points from elsewhere.

Carolina-Denver entries with (Olsen/Stewart/mcmanus/anderson) needed 43.45 more points from elsewhere (most of any combo)

Arizona-New England entries with (Quitter...Palmer/Fitzgerald/Brady/Gronk) needed nothing - those 4 would get them to the next week.

Arizona-Denver entries with (Palmer/Fitzgerald/Brady/Gronk) needed 23.7 more points from elsewhere.

I would've had 11 players in a Carolina-Denver Super Bowl, but I missed the cut this week by ~14 points. :kicksrock:

I thought I would be out of it since I had Carolina,Steelers as my SB pick, but I have 10 players with Carolina,Denver.Still not much of a shot with the players I have but at least it makes it interesting.Go Panthers and go Old man Peyton.

Crunching some numbers I get the highest possible payroll a team could have for the remaining teams and still be alive is $213.

I'm sure the winner will have much less than that on the two Super Bowl teams though :)

A lineup playing only these players plus the 4 best players from each Super Bowl combo above would have survived. It would take a psychic of course to have pulled this lineup :)

Reed (Wash)

Abbrederis (GB)

Janis (GB)

Conley (KC)

Knile Davis* (KC)

Pruitt (Minn)

Walsh (Minn)

If Davis scored 7.2 in week 1 (I don't know if that kick return counted for him). If it doesn't sub in Griffin from Houston and subtract $2.

Woulda been very interesting if the Packers had stayed alive and gotten through given how all their expensive WRs got 0 last week and the cheapies had big games. Coulda shaken things up.

I made the cut again which I never thought I would make it past the first round. The problem is the only player I have in the Super Bowl is Funchess. So long contest!

I actually made it to the final round for the first time.

Main problem: having ZERO players in the Super Bowl.

A NE-Ari Super Bowl might have been a winner for me.

Thrilled to also make the cut, finishing 20th last week.....my best showing ever. NO CHANCE to win with 4 from Denver and 2 from Carolina. Nothing unique about my team. Fun contest nonetheless. Thanks FBG!

There are 1,002 entries still live in this contest, but almost all of them are dead money at this point. Here's the list of live entries with 6+ players going in the Super Bowl:

Any chance you can tell us how many of the original entires had 10+ Car/Den players?

Every team other than these that I clicked on in the standings were junk entries. Of course 6 SB players in years past were junk entires.
