Walter reminds me a bit of a former Raiders QB... Rich Gannon. Anyone else? Maybe im just comparing them on arm strength. BUt i dont know. I dont know if thats a good thing or not either.

Per Rotoworld: Chad Greenway-LB-Vikings Aug. 14 - 9:18 pm et Chad Greenway injured his left knee while covering a kickoff in the first quarter of the Vikings' first preseason game.The first-round pick limped off the field and did not return to action. After a short visit to the trainer's table, Greenway got up and began walking freely up and down the sideline. The injury doesn't appear too severe

Jordan blocking extremely well. This guy won't come out on 3rd downs unless extemely tired. Not only has he shown to be an effective receiving RB, but his blocking is very good.

Jordan is a worker..... he has proven he will do whatever asked of him and will do it well.Whatever else about the guy, he does have a consummate work ethic. I value that in this modern era of prima donnas and lazy, money hungry players.

Kornheiser definitely had some rough moments, but he's not a bad counterbalance to Norman Einstein on his right. I think he'll get better when he realizes that his sarcasm is not always funny.

Yeah part of the reason why Kornheiser's sarcasm won't work quite as well is because Theisman is not smart enough to play off it. Everytime Tony has tried to bring some wit to the broadcast it has followed with silence.

Well, Art Shell was always known as an Offensive Guru...not! What did you all really expect from this offense?? I cant understand why Lamont is rated so high this year. He's got gobs of talent, sure, but he is going to get shmeared in this offense. Talented Players have to be put in position to win games. Norv Turner = RB with Big Numbers Art Shell = Train Wreck. I'm old enought to remember why Art Shell only was a head coach once. Even with great talent - and he really had GREAT talent - he could only coach teams to mediocrity.Quick History - Replacing Mike Shanahan midseason during the 1989-1990 season, he was the first african american to coach modern football. Shell took the Raiders to the AFC Championship game with "the team Shanahan built", where they lost a lopsided affair to the Buffalo Bills, 51-3. Totally outcoached. The Bills went on to lose in the Super Bowl to Washington The team's fortunes faded after the loss. In 8 years they made only two other playoff appearances under Shell, and finished higher than 3rd place only three times. This period was marked by the career-ending injury of Bo Jackson in 1990, the drafting of troubled quarterback Todd Marinovich, the departure of Marcus Allen in 1993 and the retirement of Hall of Fame defensive end Howie Long after the 1993 season. On June 23, 1995, Davis signed a letter of intent to move the Raiders back to Oakland. The move was greeted with much public fanfare, and the 1995 season started off well for the team (IMO due to an easy schedule). They started 8-2, but injuries to starting quarterback Jeff Hostetler contributed to a six-game losing streak to end the season, and the Raiders failed to qualify for the playoffs. In 1998, Al Davis strayed from his habit of hiring a head coach from within the organization when he hired Eagles offensive coordinator Jon Gruden.To me this is like Al Davis' dying wish. Things to be just like they were - the good old days - swingin and slingin down the field. Let the stallions go and pick up the strays.This remains a poor organization (as it has been for decades). They make tend to make poor organizational decisions. Art Shell is a poor organizational decision. Mark my words - this will be the worst team in the NFL - congratulations on making it out of the cellar Houston! Like Randy Moss and Aaron Brooks were going to lead this team!

Kornheiser is an abortion in the booth. I honestly believe that my wife knows more football and would bring more to the table than he does. That said, my wife hates football.

Korn is just getting his feet wet. He is very intelligent AND his jokes actually make sense to us "lay" people. remember miller - cerebral and not even familiar with football. korn is a SPORTS writer and will bring more to the table than just jokes.

Minnesota recap:

Offensive Line did not look cohesive and together yet. Given it is the first preseason game, I expect better execution next week.

Chester Taylor looked good, not great. Often times getting 3-yards after the intitial contact. I would like him to be a little more explosive. Was not targeted.

RB depth chart appeared to be Taylor \ Fason \ Moore \ Echmandu

Passing game did not look electric, instead it looked more efficient. Koren appears to be the #1 and Williamson seems to be stepping into the role as #2.

Tarvaris Jackson will be the #2 quarterback.

Play calling was very conservative I thought.

The Minnesota first team defense looked impressive.
