I saw 1 catch that was called back by a holding penalty. What did I miss? Don't see his name in the box score at all.Tyler Eifert is going to catch a lot of passes this season. Huge TE1 sleeper.

Lmao. if his motor is turning he could be special.Nother rookie sighting, this time Browns rookie LBer Barkevious Mingo.
Their was a rookie who had a name and Mingo was his name-O
M-I N-G-O
M-I N-G-O
M-I N-G-O
And Mingo was his name-O
Browns rookie LB Barkevious Mingo getting off to a nice start. He just beat the back-up OLT he was facing for a sack.
To add insult to injury the beaten OLT got flagged for kicking Mingo when Bark was stepping over him.
Add, Mingo nearly got his second sack the next play..
Have to confess he's looking good but don't get all excited for his IDP prospects because he's currently a backup and likely won't be starting but should see work in on sub packages.
The guy runs hard. I think he gets a lot of action regardless of any problems with Lynch.Wow Michael in on 2nd and 3rd first series...
Has he officially past Turbin on the depth chart? The guy runs hard. I think he gets a lot of action regardless of any problems with Lynch.Wow Michael in on 2nd and 3rd first series...
That's so wrong but I laughedTeo's girlfriend nowhere to be seen in the stands of the Charger's game.
Looks that way. He came in on second play, and has played from then on so far...Has he officially past Turbin on the depth chart? The guy runs hard. I think he gets a lot of action regardless of any problems with Lynch.Wow Michael in on 2nd and 3rd first series...
I find this interesting. He started and ran quite a few routes. It's being dismissed due to Thomas, Welker, and Decker, but lets not forget Peyton made a TE viable in Dallas Clark when he still had Wayne, Harrison, and Stokeley to throw to.at WR/TE
Julius Thomas the best performer - nothing elsewhere

People just seem to forget the massive amount of carries this dude has gotten in the last 4 years. its insaneYeah I know its just the first preseason game but I'm not too impressed by him. Was high on him this year...we'll see what happens in the next couple weeks.
Guessing you missed the first drive where James was getting 5+ per carry against the Broncos top D with only one play going for no yardage. The exchange looked more on Colt than James IMO.At RB
Some fumble and exchange issues - James not looking all that good
4 decent guys - I don't know how they can keep them all - Green is going to have to step upI find this interesting. He started and ran quite a few routes. Interesting guy to watch in Thomas. TE feels really, really deep.
My observation of that run...nice move...good speed.Chris Johnson with a 58 yard TD.
Davis' would be called any time.So has there been 2 celebration penalties so far in the preseason? I know Fred Davis got one that was crap but did they call one on the Ravens TD
I noticed the same. Like 5 guys running with CJ while he's at full speed.that is true. Britt looked faster than CJ on that run.
I'm not convinced he wasn't running barely as fast as he had to to score there, rather than going all out.My observation of that run...nice move...good speed.Chris Johnson with a 58 yard TD.
But the old CJ would have been a minimum of 5 yards ahead of everyone else by the time he hit the endzone.
Nitpick to be sure...but he was not pulling away like he used to.
Second this. Running hard and decisive. Brown is poo.Ryan Mathews looked good.... If the dude stays healthy, might be a steal in the early 5th round.
I agree, he seemed to be slowing down once he knew he was going to score.I'm not convinced he wasn't running barely as fast as he had to to score there, rather than going all out.My observation of that run...nice move...good speed.Chris Johnson with a 58 yard TD.

The long grab and TD were early in the 2nd Q iirc....and Haden/Browns secondary, probably more, was out I believe. Still think Givens has redraft value as you mentioned.givens had a 59 yd reception early (later 3 yd TD reception)...
sustaining a trend from 2012... he broke NFL record (held by bears willie gault?) last year with a 50+ yard reception in five straight games...
i like both givens and austin in redraft and dynasty... but givens more in redraft this year, austin more in dynasty...
the rams passing offense could support few receiving weapons, and jared cook will definitely play a big role...
givens could get a lot of big plays (especially with defenses distracted by cook and austin)...
cook and austin could get a boost in PPR leagues...
* nice grab by greg little on a tipped ball contested by several STL DBs...
fwiw, they kept those same 4 TEs last year4 decent guys - I don't know how they can keep them all - Green is going to have to step upI find this interesting. He started and ran quite a few routes. Thomas is a name that has stood out to me reading some of camp reports. Seems like a good player to pick up despite all the competition for targets he has.I find this interesting. Harbaugh loves this guy and gave him Mike Ditka's number. Good buzz about him from camp seems to have carried over into the pre season. Great target in dynasty and I think he will get targets as a rookie as well making him a decent flyer TE in redraft leagues.Vance McDonald (TE) for San Fran looked good last night 4 catches for 66 yards. Now how much that will carry into the regular season with Davis there will need to be seen, but just something I came away from the game with last night.
In the first series with Kaepernick, James had 5 carries for 5, 5, 6, 9 , and -1 yards against the first team defense for the Broncos. Interestingly enough, the only negative carry was a designed outside run that was poorly blocked.LaMichael James rushed eight times for 27 yards in the 49ers' preseason opener against Denver.
James got the start for Frank Gore (rest), and averaged 3.34 yards per carry while failing to catch a pass. The 49ers' primary kickoff and punt returner, James is San Francisco's No. 3 running back behind Gore and Kendall Hunter.
You both left out his fumbleDon't be fooled by RW's box score reporting on James:

Still - that's 5 carries at 4.8 per against a first team defense that was pretty stout last year.
