I hate this board.  If you accidentally quote someone you cant get it out of the text editor.  And now the delete post option is gone.

Anyway, lookong for some different shaving lotions/soap/oils.  Any recommendations?
Cremo shave cream.  Got it out of this thread and will never go back.  About twice as much as "normal" high end shaving lotion, lasts three times as long, and I haven't had razor burn or a nick in like 2.5 years.

I have tried Cremo, Prosaro (green), Prosaro (red), and a handful of others.  My money is on the Prosaro Green.  I liked the Cremo but Prefer the Proraso.

And thank you.  I thought I was just too stupid to find the delete post button I had previously had no difficulty finding.

The accidental quotes have been giving me the option to get rid of them.  I have no idea why you don't get the same notice.

Towards the pool was one of my thoughts.  I have a 4&7 year old and it would make me feel a bit safer if I could have eyes on the pool at all times in case they get sneaky.

I use Proraso green (eucalyptus) most of the time. I got a bunch of shaving creams from family for Xmas and I have been trying to use them up. Post-shave I have been using this Nivea Men Creme (link) for a few months now and like it quite a bit.

Move your mouse over the quote and a little box should appear on the top left corner. Hold down the CTRL key and RIGHT CLICK that box. Select Remove Quote.

Folding Landscaping Saw - Love this saw. Works great on every type of wood I have come across. Really quick and clean cuts. HIGHLY recommended.

Waterproof Wireless Earbuds - Doubt you could find better for under $20

Proraso After Shave Lotion - Love the scent, not over powering and it leaves my face feeling super smooth (Pretty sure someone here suggested this before so full credit goes to the unknown FBG)
I just ordered the ear uds today by total coicedence, so glad to see them in here listed.

Okay, this is a weird one.  I am not an athlete - but I get athlete's foot on one foot.  Like, constantly.  My understanding is that it's because I sweat a lot with that foot and I don't pee in the shower.

Anyway, I've used every cream, ointment, salve, what have you that I've ever seen.  It'll go away after a few days and come roaring back. Like, the skin will get scaly and horrible, crack and bleed at the joints in my toes.  It's awful.  And really painful and itchy.

One week I've been using this stuff.  Unbelievable result.  Totally gone in a way it hasn't been in many, many moons.

TruFuel. Pricey but I’ll never again use a home made fuel mix for any of my equipment. I have it in my chainsaw, weed trimmer/pole saw, and leaf blower. Peace of mind for every time start up and top end performance is worth every penny. I leave it in my machines during winter storage and they fire right up in the spring. I can get it from a buddy who has a shop that gets it in bulk for $12/gallon.

Don't remember what brand but just got a new trimmer and got the canned fuel for it, and I agree 100%. Will probably still drain it for the winter though. :tinfoilhat:

Wise choice to protect your investment    Ethanol is the death of 2 cycle engines. The way I look at it, why spend $100’s/$1000’s on equipment and try to save a few $1 by putting junk fuel into it that will destroy it and cause lack of dependability headaches?

If it’s $12/gallon in bulk, what is the consumer end cost?

Would look into it but not for $50/gallon.

Why not just non-oxy gas at the pump?

It’s been a while but I’m pretty sure it’s $20/gallon otc
Just bought a new gas blower and started using this stuff.  While not cheap, it's not terrible given the frequency of fill ups.

$34.99 for a 1 1/2 gallon

I just bought the single bottle for $6.99 if memory serves.

Only time will tell if this stuff actually works.  As with all 2 cycle engines, my blower worked fine last year and won't start at all this year.  Tried new plugs, took the carb out and cleaned it and still nothing.

Experienced the ethanol death. The small companies that I know use the stuff, and when PECO came out to clear a tree from the lines this past winter, guess what they used to refuel the saws?

At that price, it is more cost efficient for me to mix my own high-test gas with the proper ratio of gas/oil mix and Sta-bil and, once the season is over and I have bucked rounds for 6-10 cords of wood and limbed and taken down trees, to take my saw to my power equipment guy to do a $100 tuneup.

It would cost me hundreds of dollars worth of that fuel in a given season of all that work.

I don't think this product is designed for users like you.  If you are using your equipment that regularly, I agree mixing it yourself and even with ethanol, you are burning through it before it gums up and breaks down.

I understand it to be for the idiot home owners who aren't smart enough to mix or just for convenience sake.  For me, I may use a can or 2 of this at most every year in my blower to clean up after cutting.

Just got tired of getting 2 - 3 years out of gas powered equipment, only to have them just die the instant death.  And I religiously went the Stabil, mixed correctly, etc.

Will this work on a yellow toenail? I think it's fungus. I broke my toe almost 20 years ago, toenail fell off and everything, and ever since then this one toe has been yellow and cracking. :X
Several years ago, I had this chalk-type stuff on a toenail that I tried about 5 different things on and it wouldn't clear it. Finally plunked down the 20 bucks on this and it worked like a charm. Says it works for off-color nails too.

Update - still killing it, and getting better all the time.  Two things:

Still getting the itch on one side of my foot (where I sweat like crazy - I assume I need to Gold Bond it or something, but also may be healing) and (stop reading here if you get grossed out easily) the nail fungus under two of my toenails was apparently so bad that killing/eating away at it exposed the entire nail bed to air between the bed and the nail, which is excrutiating.  But only lasts a couple of days at a time, as the bed gets used to feeling air, and it's slowly eating away at the fungus.

I thought I had thick nails.  Apparently, not so much.  Ew.

I started using Shave Secret a few months back and still love it. I might try some of the other recommendations at some point but it's been much better than Edge and Gillette shaving gels.

Starburst Summer Splash.

Flavors: Cherry Cooler, Grape Slushie, Strawberry Watermelon, Lemon Lime

Oh boy. A cornucopia of goodness.

I'm a believer. Not a trace of doubt in my mind. I'm in love...

Shave Secret is great for traveling. It is a small 0.8 oz bottle, so fitting it into your dopp kit is no problem.

For day-to-day shaving at home, I use a Neutrogena Shave cream because I shave in the shower, and this is a more lotiony cream, and it doesn't disappear in the steamyness of the shower.

Last week, I was dragged into a store called Lush while shopping with wife and daughter. They do handmade soaps, and bath stuff. I snagged a couple samples of their shaving creams, that looked interesting.

For the YardGuys...

Wire Tek 1001 EasySet Mole Eliminator Trap

After paying a pest control service the past 2 years for mole removal, I finally Googled "mole trap easy to use" and found this set.  I read the reviews and bought a 2-pack of traps.  I like that the traps are incredibly easy to set (no digging) and easy to remove.  And most importantly, they work.  I caught my first mole within 2 hours.

Triazicide at double the recommended strength.  You don't trap moles, you get rid of their food source.

Apply once, sometimes twice a year.  I don't have any mole problems, I sit on the deck and drink beer while watching my neighbors try and trap them.

For years I have been using the Oxo Good Grips Soap Dispensing Brush for my dish cleaning. It's simple, there is a brush at the bottom, and a button to dispense a small amount of dish soap into the brush. It allows you to wash the dishes and scrub nicely without getting all in the water. It also lets you wash a small amount of dishes without having to fill your whole sink with water. It also doesn't get that smell that you get with used sponges. You can get replacement brushes and it lasts a very long time. I only need this and SOS pads and I am all set for my dish washing.
