similar….in a superflex startup this year, I grabbed Lamar in the first and Bryce in the 6th (QBs flew off the board as expected and he was the last “young starting QB” left) and then Carr in the 12th as my “good enough to start at SuperFlex this year” insurance. So, yeah, I’ve been rooting for this kid the whole year and happy to see him turn it around.Love to see it. Written off by almost everyone.
I snagged him for a late 4th round rookie pick in dynasty last year. Had faith he'd rebound, and looks like it is FINALLY clicking.
Please get this guy some more WR weapons.
Dang. That makes my trade of Kupp for him in SF after he was benched look like really overpaying.Love to see it. Written off by almost everyone.

I do, mostly because he’s an Alabama QB who might succeed. Why do I find myself rooting for the guy? I don’t even care about CAR.

I’m really tempted to sit Brock for him, wish I had gone with my gut and sat Caleb for him.If Hurts is out, may be rolling B. Young out there.
TB D matchup is a good one.
He's running a bit as well.
Yeah it's either Bryce or Stafford for me.I’m really tempted to sit Brock for him, wish I had gone with my gut and sat Caleb for him.If Hurts is out, may be rolling B. Young out there.

I’m currently starting him over Rudolph without much thought.Might start him over Herbert and Rudolph. God help us all
If it’s not rainiing @ NE tomorrow I believe I’m starting Herbert. Might change my mind.I’m currently starting him over Rudolph without much thought.Might start him over Herbert and Rudolph. God help us all
Personally I'm not seeing it, but someone took his last 5 game stretch and added back in all the dropped passes and extrapolated to a full year. The result was 4927 yards, 31 TDs, 3 Ints.
Same for me but in my starter position over A Richardson and Tua in the finals for about 2K and more importantly the gloryOff waivers and in over Tua in superflex
Happy to have him in a superflex salary cap league for < 1% of the cap next season
I agree. I wrote him off. He looked completely overmatched physically. At his size he's a hard guy not to root for. Like a David among Goliaths.
This headline was a good reminder of how much I hate Barstool Sports headlines. But thrilled I scooped this guy up for like $15 bb in FFPC a few weeks ago.
Update?!Yeah, guys, sorry, but he is NOT the future. I think that was quite evident the first time he got benched but it's even more evident now.
Same here. What a turnaround he’s made this season. Proved me wrongProving the doubters wrong and I was one of those doubters.
I said it earlier in the thread and I’ll say it again….Hopefully more teams take the sit and learn approach. Yea throwing them to the fire sometimes works but not every guy can pick up and go right away nor do they have the tools to do so. Bryce sitting this year after that disaster of start seemed to give in a moment to step back and see what he was doing wrong and be able to fix it instead of continuing to get pounded without knowing.
It's more a statement that he should have been sitting that whole time and you let a guy like Dalton or Flacco take the lumps with the bad roster so the kid can learn.I said it earlier in the thread and I’ll say it again….Hopefully more teams take the sit and learn approach. I can’t remember a single occurrence of a young franchise QB playing 1+ seasons very poorly, getting benched to step back and learn, and then actually coming back to start and performing well. It seems unprecedented. Usually that kind of benching leads to the team and player going their separate ways. Amazing turnaround for Young and the Panthers.
Not my best trade ever but probably my favorite trade I’ve made - giving Kupp for Bryce on September 20 in SF. he’s probably my 3 behind purdy and Caleb but can fill in well.If you're in a SF league, he'll be an awesome 2nd QB

Heck of a job to improve the OL too. Even though Hunt was out yesterday I believe. He improved a ton. Give this man some receivers. Canales strikes again. Bryce will take an even bigger jump in 2025.
Maybe those lumps he took made the later lessons my effective? It's more a statement that he should have been sitting that whole time and you let a guy like Dalton or Flacco take the lumps with the bad roster so the kid can learn.I said it earlier in the thread and I’ll say it again….Hopefully more teams take the sit and learn approach. Maybe. There were times he looked like he was improving this year but his confidence was just falling apart this year pre-benching.Maybe those lumps he took made the later lessons my effective? It's more a statement that he should have been sitting that whole time and you let a guy like Dalton or Flacco take the lumps with the bad roster so the kid can learn.I said it earlier in the thread and I’ll say it again….Hopefully more teams take the sit and learn approach. For the second time, I'm not convinced yet. We'll see how he does next year. But, maybe he'll be the exception. I'll admit he has certainly played much better.Update?!Yeah, guys, sorry, but he is NOT the future. I think that was quite evident the first time he got benched but it's even more evident now.
The game continuing to slow down for Bryce would be huge.Ashley Stroehlein
Coach Canales on Bryce Young: “I feel really confident about what I saw today, especially going against the defense the speed that we're playing with.”
