I think it’s kind of a lateral move for Carr, but a stack is always fun. What about if I own Carr as well?Olave owners should be happy.
Not a Derek Carr stack. Definitely not always fun. The highs are great, but oof on the lows.

Now he has Olave, Thomas, Shaheed, Johnson. Kamara out of the backfield. By far the best group Carr has had. Obviously not a Top 12 QB, but for SLFLEX, feels like a sneaky target.

“(Derek Carr has) looked comfortable and has been steadily improving, as well as impressing with his command and poise. There's a clear sense of rejuvenation and reinvigoration you can see from him. Carr's bringing some major energy to the team…” #Saints
Derek Carr guided the Saints to a 16-15 victory over the Titans in Week 1, completing 23-of-33 passes for 305 yards with a touchdown and an interception.
Carr was under pressure for much of the first half against this Titans defensive line and was sacked four times and hit eight times on the day. However, the Saints moved Carr outside the pocket in the second half, and the line stepped up, which got the offense moving. Carr worked underneath to both Chris Olave and Rashid Shaheed and was able to push the ball down the field to both players when Tennessee bit on double moves. It wasn’t a flawless game, as Carr’s interception came on a play where he had plenty of time in the pocket and was able to step into a bad throw. He also benefited from a controversial call on an incompletion that certainly seemed like a sack and fumble. However, his willingness to sling the ball around the field should benefit the Saints pass catchers, who could be in for a big week next week against the Panthers.

I heard AC joint sprain mentioned, which I'd think would knock him out for 4-6 weeks at least.Derek Carr completed 13-of-18 passes for 103 yards and one touchdown before exiting the game with a shoulder injury. NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports Derek Carr’s shoulder injury is not as severe as the team feared but that he “could still miss some time.”
According to Rapoport, Carr “seems to have avoided a more serious injury,” but he’ll likely miss some time. How much time Carr could miss is anybody’s guess as of now, but Rapoport said Carr’s injury is not believed to be season-ending. The Saints get the Buccaneers in Week 4, which could mean Jameis Winston draws the start on the road against his former team.

ESPN’s Katherine Terrell reports Derek Carr (shoulder) is week-to-week with a sprained AC joint.
A week-to-week prognosis for Carr is the best case scenario. Carr exited Sunday’s Week 3 contest against the Packers for what initially looked like a head injury, but was later diagnosed with a shoulder injury and taken to the hospital for further evaluation. Carr won’t play in Week 4 against the Buccaneers, giving Jameis Winston a fun revenge game narrative on the road against the team that drafted him No. 1 overall in 2015.
Derek Carr (shoulder) would not give a timetable for his return from a sprained AC joint.
Speaking with media, Carr said of his injury, “I do anything and everything I can with my rehab, everything with the trainers, I’m going to do everything I can to be out there with my guys and if I can play, I’ll play.” Carr’s injury is to his throwing shoulder, so until he can function enough to make all of the throws, we’d expect him to be sidelined in favor of Jameis Winston. Carr is considered week-to-week with his injury, and could be sidelined beyond Week 4’s matchup against the Bucccaneers.
Purple is terrible to read on here btw
NOF’s Nick Underhill reports game status of Saints QB Derek Carr will be a Sunday decision.
Carr wants to play despite a hurt shoulder that may hold him back for Week 4. He was believed to have suffered an AC sprain in Week 3’s loss to the Packers, but practiced Friday. If Carr can’t go, Jameis Winston will step up as the starter. Whichever Saints quarterback starts will have back-end QB2 value this week. Carr has a 50-50 shot of playing and it seems like it will come down to a Sunday gametime decision for Week 4 against the Buccaneers.
Last-minute decision. “A source told” Adam Schefter yesterday that Carr was starting unless he has a setback in warmups. So is he starting or not? Getting reports of both out and starting

Saints listed Derek Carr (shoulder) as questionable for Week 5 against the Patriots.
If Carr plays, the Saints will need more out of him than the 7.4 aDOT he provided in Week 4’s loss to the Buccaneers. Carr played through the same shoulder injury last week, as he struggled his way to 127 yards on 37 passes. His underwhelming line had a direct impact on Chris Olave, who finished the day with one catch for four yards, as Carr relied heavily on Kamara to move the ball through the air. If he’s active, Carr will be difficult to trust for fantasy until we see a significant improvement in his shoulder.
The way it was presented I took it the same way. He was hurt, couldn't effectively push the ball downfield, checked it down all day. But after listening to his presser from yesterday, it was about execution, Tampa running a two-deep look & missing on a few throws. He takes like 8 or 9 questions, something, but none of them were about the decision of him playing...... He's saying all the right things, waving his arms around, that right arm in particular doesn't appear restricted or unnatural, he looks like a go to me. Have Rashid Shaheed in my lineup, my leagues score the return game, so he can factor a number of ways. No Gonzalez for New England, gotta hope.Derek himself said last week he wouldn't play if he thought it would hurt the team. Then he did the complete opposite. SMDH. Just sit, dude.
I've only seen them once, but they'll be on up here this week for sure. Appreciate the insight, because DEF/ST's score more in my leagues I went ahead & dropped Jahan Dotson for Seattle, for next week. Have Jayden Reed, I'm also considering Wan'dale Robinson, pretty desperate...lolIf you’re not watching the Saints games, you’re missing that the offensive line is in shambles right now. If Carr played for the Lions, Dolphins, or 49ers right now, he’d be fine.
He threw multiple worm burners last week with receivers open. There’s a reason Kamara had like 15 catches for 30 yards. The Bucs knew Carr couldn’t push it down the field. If you’re not watching the Saints games, you’re missing that the offensive line is in shambles right now. Right, that's one narrative, he had an injury designation, to his throwing arm & threw a boatload of check downs. Conversely, there's the state of the OL, he's asked a question that makes note of Tampa sitting in a two-deep shell, plus, the matter of why the coach wouldn't pull him.He threw multiple worm burners last week with receivers open. because ownership would expect crab legs to go in as QB2 but Hill is a better option.Right, that's one narrative, he had an injury designation, to his throwing arm & threw a boatload of check downs. Jameis coming in to throw an INT on his only pass and Chris Myers saying “Bucs’ fans have seen that before” was truly glorious.because ownership would expect crab legs to go in as QB2 but Hill is a better option.Right, that's one narrative, he had an injury designation, to his throwing arm & threw a boatload of check downs. He really might be the worst starting QB in the NFL. I am dead serious when I say this but he is a downgrade from 2022 Andy Dalton.Through 7 starts: 6TDs, 4 INTs, 163 cmps to 255 att, 1600 yards, 18 sacks for 120 yards.
This is David Carr level football.

Helmet doink — one third-quarter play vs the Colts, but that was on Olave.Criminal misuse of Olave. But it is what it is. He can hit Shaheed in stride, but can’t hit Olave to save his life.

Good point and people were telling me he would for sure be starting next year also because of his contract.
