As one of the biggest Carr trashers here, I gotta say, dude is balling out.

Yeah, I mean could it just be that Carolina is awful and Dallas made it easy by not really trying to stop the run? Play action works incredibly well when you run it for 8 yards a carry.

Rotowire) Rattler is viewed as a "strong candidate" to start Sunday against the Buccaneers with Derek Carr (oblique) expected to miss multiple games, Mike Garafolo and Ian Rapoport of NFL Network report.
Analysis: A rookie fifth-round pick out of South Carolina, Rattler has yet to make his NFL debut, as he's been inactive as the Saints' No. 3 quarterback behind Carr and Jake Haener through the team's first five games. Though it was Haener who entered in relief of the injured Carr for the final possession of Monday's 26-13 loss to the Chiefs, the Saints may be inclined to turn the offense over to Rattler, who possesses strong arm talent but at times played recklessly during his five-year collegiate career. During his three preseason appearances, Rattler completed 20 of 38 pass attempts (52.6 percent) for 202 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions while rushing seven times for 26 yards and a lost fumble.

I believe it, they aren't gonna find anyone better than Carr, its just a matter of whether this is the year they try and finally get on the good side of the cap or not.

What is Olave really worth now with Carr back? On one hand, Carr is probably the best option to throw the ball to Olave, but on the other hand, he has lead Olave into concussions.
Is Olave still worth a 1st rd pick in a rookie draft? Would a 1:1 swap for Pickens or Aiyuk be a good value?
I'm not sure what I want to do with Olave. Maybe take whatever I can get in order to move away from someone with repeated brain trauma.

That's sneaky big news. I thought New Orleans made a lot of sense for Sanders in the draft, both to reset the cap a bit, and rebuild on the fly.
I get the move for New Orleans, Carr is a solid QB, and I like Kellen Moore, but that likely takes them out of QB drafting until round 3 at the earliest, if at all, they might just stick with Rattler behind Carr.
If he really slides past the 5 teams ahead of them who need a qb, why not? They might do as you say, but I don’t think it makes Sanders or other later qb impossible. Atlanta spent more time/$ on Cousins and still took Penix.
