Its up to him, i wish him well. I would be wearing the Guardian helmet for sure if I were him. Then again, I would have called it quits by now if I were him.
But, I didnt go to college and play in the NFL with football as life.
Is there any evidence the guardian helmets help? Or are they just experimental right now? If you’ve read where there is concrete evidence please post a link.
Doesnt matter to me, I'd be wearing one, even if it
might cut down on chances for a concussion by 4%. Whats the down side to it, looks funny? Does that matter to anyone, really?
In lab tests, Guardian Caps reduced the force of acceleration by up to 5% for the standard model and up to 14% for the NFL model. When both players wore a Guardian Cap, the reduction was even greater.
Do Guardian Caps Work? When worn, the Guardian Cap reportedly reduces the severity of impact by 10% if one player is wearing it. If two players are wearing them, the impact is reduced by at least 20%.
A foam cap that fits over football helmets seemed to reduce the force of blows in lab experiments - but not on the field.
