#### I feel bad for you, BUT, I am going to try and put a positive spin on things. First, technology and medicine improve exponentially from year to year. What may seem impossible now in terms of a hip replacement, could be like changing the oil on a car in 10 years or sooner. Second, there are tons of OWS and Aqua/Bike endurance events. In fact,
here is your first chance to race a stand alone OWS event. Don't knock these until you try them. I did a mile OWS event on the 4th of July weekend and LOVED it. I've recently bought a swim tether to use when I travel for work and have to use the hotel pool. This would work for you to simulate OWS, while using the pool. Its a hell of a workout as you don't get the advantage of a glide in the water.
I would guess that yoga would be good to add to the mix as well. Plenty of other ways to abuse your body, go find some new ones to replace running!
