Random movie "aha" moment (1 Viewer)

I just figured out that the actress who played Nancy Taylor in Groundhog Day is the gal on Seinfeld whom Jerry couldn't kiss after he found out she had once dated Newman.

Watched Manhunter for the first time last night...surprised (and kind of out of place) to see Chris Elliott in one scene.

Which scene? I don't recall this.

Was Watching Tremors yesterday. The little girl in the movie on the pogo stick is the little girl in Jurassic Park 3 years older.

AHA!

Well I'll be damned. She never had big face time in tremors but I've seen that movie like 50 times and never noticed.

Any time you see Anthony Michael Hall in a new movie now, it's an "aha" moment because he looks so different.

He was the security guy in Foxcatcher at the estate.

Just caught The Ice Harvest on netflix, and the guy from all the Sonic comercials is one of the major background characters (a cop). Once I realized was hard to not imagine him firing off food related puns and the like.

He was also the goofy kid in 16 Candles.
I believe you're thinking of The Breakfast Club.
You're both wrong. He was in Weird Science.
A-HA!!!
His twin, Michael Anthony Hall was in Vacation.

Showed my girlfriend the Cameron Crowe film Singles this past weekend. Was surprised to see Paul Giamatti and Prezbo from The Wire.

I thought Michael Anthony Hall played for Van Halen?

Can we apply "aha" moments from TV in here also?

If so, I just noticed that an episode of the TV show "Castle" (Swan Song) had, as one of the band members, the guy who played Gareth in "The Walking Dead".

Castle is an awesome TV show IMO.

the kid who played Young Jack Black in "Tenacious D and the Pick Of Destiny" is Barry on "The Goldgergs".

The annoying little kid that is Adam Sandler's neighbor, the one who he moves the glove out of the way so he gets hit in the face. Plays Ian Gallagher in Shameless.

It is great, in a formulaic 80s TV show kind of way. And I mean that in the best sense. It fits in with Magnum P.I., Simon & Simon, and shows like that.

In swingers Nikki the chick with the olives and the number Favreau gets is the cheerleader from The Replacements. :bag:

Very much so. Much hotter with the longer hair as well.
