Random movie "aha" moment (1 Viewer)

Was watching some Thundermans show on Disney or Nick Jr with my kid and there's a talking rabbit...I knew the voice sounded familiar...it was Master Shake from Aqua Teen Hunger Force
Dana Snyder. Yea dude does lots of work. Adventure Time, Venture Bros, Batman Unlimited.

Not a movie but in the new series of Prius commercials the bank robbers are the Stevedors from season 2 of The Wire

"Inherit The Wind" has a double random a-ha moment.

**** York (the first Darren on "Bewitched"), is the center of the plot. Harry Morgan (Col. Potter on MASH), plays the judge.

I must have seen "Carlito's Way" 10 times and just now realized that the wheelchair bound would-be snitch Lalin is Viggo Mortensen.

Caught part of 10 on HBO yesterday, and didn't remember that Brian Dennehy had a minor part in it.

Also made me miss Blake Edwards and his moviemaking style.

Michael Cudlitz.

"Bob" (the jerkwad/poet) in Grosse Pointe Blank and "Abraham" in The Walking Dead.

I was watching basic instinct last night, and realized that three actors in the movie also appeared in Seinfeld. Newman, Mr. Kruger, and the wholistic healer, Tor Eckman

Caught 5 minutes of "The Mist" over the holidays and saw Dale, Andrea and Carol from "The Walking Dead" were all in it. Guess it was the Frank Darabont connection.

Also, one of the other doctors was the guy who played the D.A. in the Seinfeld finale.

Also, Tor Eckman = Ned Ryerson

I was watching Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, and was just idly wondering if the big guard that Indy fights (scarf caught in rock crusher, pulling him under) was in anything else.

IMDB'd him, and he's also the bald mechanic that Indy fights in Raiders of the Lost Ark (Plane propeller chops him to bits).

He also was a Nazi in Last Crusade, but his fight scene with Indy was cut from the movie.  Speilberg really liked this guy I guess.

I had to look him up to figure it out, but something looked familiar about the All-American hothead baseball player McReynolds from Everybody Wants Some...he's Tom Hanks' son from Road to Perdition.

Who, word around the campfire, was truly a hell of a ballplayer

I probably mentioned this in The Martian thread. A little Easter egg in the scene at NASA that where they name their clandestine mission meeting "Project Elrond".

Kristen Wiig's character doesn't know why they chose the name Project Elrond for their meeting. Sean Bean, playing the head of mission control, explains the Council of Elrond was a secret meeting. Wiig asks him how he even knows that.

Having played Boromir in Lord of the Rings, Bean is the only actor in the movie who was actually at the Council of Elrond.

Not my proudest moment. I"ve been watching the new Judd Apatow Netflix series "Love". I'm part way through Season 2 and just realized the actress that plays Mickey was Britta Perry on "Community", Gillian Jacobs. I haven't seen all the episodes of Community, but still :bag:

I knew she seemed really familiar, but I just couldn't place her.

I've been rewatching Lost on Netflix and could not place my finger on where I had seen Bernard.  Then I realize that he was the bomb technician in Lethal Weapon 2 when Danny Glover was stuck on the toilet.

In the three Lord of the Ring movies, There is a little boy and a little girl that appear in all three of them. They are Hobbit kids at the beginning of the first. They are hiding in the caves behind Helms Deep in the Two Towers, and are along the street when Faromir leads the mounted knights down the streets of the White City to take back Osgiliath after it was over run.
