His name is ASAC Schrader and you can go...

Watching “Anatomy of a Murder” with Jimmy Stewart. I thought the defendant looked familiar (he had a long, distinguished career), but realized that the role that I recognized him for was as Jackie Treehorn in The Big Lebowski.

The guy who tries to rob the convenience store where Judge Reinhold is working (and Sean Penn "patronizing") at the end of Fast Times at Ridgemont High is James Russo, the evil sheriff in Open Range and a thousand other roles.

Actually, the droid in Empire was IG-88.  :nerd:
Yeah, I looked it up and noticed that.  So, not entirely true.  However, I wasn't even aware of bounty hunter droids until I watched the first episode of The Mandalorian.  I haven't really watched any Star Wars outside of the main movies or read any of the books.

Also Bugsy in Once Upon A Time In America.

Watching Trading Places yesterday...there were a ton of aha’s of course...but it took me a while to figure out where I recognized Louis’ friend Andrew from...finally recognized the smirk belonging to Frank Cosgrove.

Watching “The Money Pit” (don’t ask me why) and a very young Bunk from “The Wire” has a few lines. He’s unrecognizable, but that voice.

Watching “Blackhawk Down” and everyone is in this movie but Phil Dunphy “Modern Family” pops up playing some badass Marine

Just watched Star Trek:  The Search for Spock.  Mr R realized that the helmsman on the Excelsior is Miguel Ferrer.  Never noticed before.

Usual Suspects is one of my favorite movies. I’ve seen it several times, but never realized the detective was Gus from Breaking Bad until my girlfriend pointed it out last week.

May have said this earlier in the thread, but Giancarlo Esposito has an extensive pre-BB resume.

He had an earlier fiery death at the beginning of his acting career in Taps (scene starts at 1:49:35).

Not really an a-ha moment, just decided after the 500th time watching Frozen 2 with kiddo to pull up the google and find out who some of these voices are.  Kristoff is none other than Agent Holden Ford from Mindhunter

I'm watching 'Godless' on Netflix, and see Thomas Brodie-Sangster.  First time I've noticed him outside of Queens Gambit(he played Benny Watts).  Hmm, I think, I wonder what else he's been in?

Wow, he's been the voice of Ferb(Phineas and Ferb) since the beginning!  Mind....blown.

So I just started watching Bosch and am in season 1. The serial killer who escapes goes to his Mom's house, and the mom looks familiar. Pretty quickly I realize she played Lambert in Alien (Veronica Cartwright). Of course, she also played the young daughter in Hitchcock's "The Birds" which is another good random movie "aha" moment.

My wife and I fired up Night at the Museum via disney+ and greeted with the surprise that 'Freddie Mercury' plays the pharaoh.

Watching Porky's .... The stripper that they play the prank on the guys out in the woods is the mom from Webster

This isn't an "a-ha" in terms of casting but one of plot.

Watching Fargo again last night I realized that the plan went wrong from the very first.

Carl Showalter: Shep said you'd be here at 7:30. What gives, man?
Jerry Lundegaard: Shep said 8:30.
Carl Showalter: We've been sitting here an hour. He's
[motioning to Gaer]
Carl Showalter: peed three times already.
Jerry Lundegaard: I'm sure sorry. Shep told me 8:30. It was a mix-up, I guess.
Also, the guy the indian from the maintenance department set Lundegaard up with was NOT Showalter, it was Grimshoe(the blond crazy guy)
