Random movie "aha" moment (3 Viewers)

Kids were watching a Good Luck Charlie marathon this weekend and I couldn't quite remember where I had seen the Dad before, then he did some dance move, and realized he was Bear in American Wedding, the gay wedding dress maker.
yep ..he's been in a few shows ...pretty sure he was the neighbor on the hughleys
He goes all the way back to Cheers. He was one of the painters that worked for Norm when he left accounting to start a painting business.

The guy who was Tommy Lee Jones' sidekick in The Fugitive is the guy who sold out Neo and company in The Matrix.
Wrong. But the traitor from The Matrix is the same guy Arnold promised to kill last in Commando.
Nope.

Matrix - Joe Pantoliano

Commando - David Patrick Kelly
My bad. But the guy from Commando did play a bit part in Friends as Lisa Kudrow's half-brother.

I just realized the old guy who played the godfather was the same hard luck dockworker in On the Waterfront.

The guy who tried to diffuse the bomb in Die Hard III is Locke from LOST.

He also played the traitor in The Matrix.

He also had a small role in the first X-Files movie. He was the agent assigned to diffuse the bomb in the opening Dallas scene, but let it blow up in his face. Special Agent Mishow...or something like that.

This isn't an "a-ha" in terms of casting but one of plot.

Watching Fargo again last night I realized that the plan went wrong from the very first.

Carl Showalter: Shep said you'd be here at 7:30. What gives, man?
Jerry Lundegaard: Shep said 8:30.
Carl Showalter: We've been sitting here an hour. He's
[motioning to Gaer]
Carl Showalter: peed three times already.
Jerry Lundegaard: I'm sure sorry. Shep told me 8:30. It was a mix-up, I guess.

I am not going to read back on this thread. Sure it was probably mentioned.

But the first time I realized in Total Recall when I heard the assistant at Recall say "oh this is a new one, Blue Skies on Mars" I realized it was a total mind ***K. That it was all in his head from the implant at Recall.
This is actually a better premise than what the thread was originally intended.
A much more interesting topic.

The Kid in Jacob's ladder is the same kid who was in Home alone and Uncle Buck.

Breaking Bad's Hank is in lethal weapon 2 or 3 as a cop
he was also the cop in Gattaca that confronts Jude Law in the wheelchair towards the end.
He also played a cop in Breaking Bad.
He's also the mayor on Under The Dome.
just looked at his IMDB page... he has played a lot of cops.
He was also in Breaking Bad.

That you should can it? No.

Like I'm the only one ever that's been watching a movie and realized holy crap that's the guy from...

"Pee Wee's Playhouse" is now on Netflix so I showed the pilot to my kids. Cowboy Curtis comes onscreen and I'm scratching my head trying to figure out why I recognize him...

Holy #### it's a young Laurence Fishburne.

Edit: credited as "Larry Fishburne".

On a roll tonight...

Now watching "Honey, we shrunk ourselves" with the kids and there is a scene with a bunch of preteen girls having a party. One of them is a very young Mila Kunis.

Licensed to Kill...Bond villian Sanchez has a young business partner...took me a while...but A HA....

Realized its Jimmy, as in 'Jimmy's down!'

He actually wasn't bad...surprised now he wasn't in more.

Julianna Moore and Jane Lynch are both in The Fugitive. They were both 33 years old.

Julianna Moore was a hottie at 33.
