Marino #1, Favre #2.........football is a TEAM game........Marino is #1 in every major Category and Favre is #2.
curious statement to call it a team game and then allude to individual statsI'm not so sure Brady isn't 2. If not for Marino and Favre's great long careers he would be. Geesh he's as big a winner as there is and the first guy I don't get naucious when they keep comparing him to Joe. He's so young though it's like you're doing Favre and Marino an injustice yet look what he's accomplished. Very tough spot and if he wins a Supe this year.....

1. Montana2. Elway3. Brady4. Favre5. MarinoIMO Marino cant be ranked ahead of any of the top three as they are multiple SB winners with great stats and Win %. He is a toss up with Favre. I just think Favre was tougher and has the 1 title. Having a title doesnt automatically put you ahead of Marino (see Brad Johnson and Trent Dilfer) but Favre has the pedigree, stats and the title.

I think his point is to say that Marino and Favre are right up there with (if not ahead of) the other guys on the list with more Super Bowls, because since it's a team game a better player could still end up w/ less rings.

Joe Montana is as overrated as Scottie Pippen. John Elway is the greatest QB in NFL history (and I rooted against him for years). I'd say Marino but he never won the steel. ELWAYMARINOUNITASBRADYBRADSHAW

Why isn't Vince Young on this list? :hot: I think Favre is #2. Has the stats, 3 MVPs, and a title.Of course, Sammy Baugh might have something to say about it...

Who is best after Joe Cool?
Can I assume by Joe Cool, you mean Montana? For some reason, when I first read that, I thought you mean Namath and couldn't stop laughing.

I believe Terry Bradshaw belongs somewhere in the Top 3. He does have 4 rings, you know? :hophead:

Who is the 2nd best QB of all time?

Easy. Joe Montana.
That's kind of you to say, but at this point in his career, I think you still have to put Brady behind Montana.
If by "behind Montana" you mean "still outside the top 20", then don't worry, I've got Brady "behind Montana".

Wayyyyyyy too early to be considering Brady the second best anything!Let's see how the career plays out!
