I was in agreement with the two games Goodell doled out because it's not his job to levy punishment. My assumption was that the video would show Rice had a bad reaction to something she did since she was also charged. In the end Rice pleas to DV classes; two games, fine. After watching that video, I think Goodell did a poor job of "protecting the shield." The new DV policy is an attempt to correct his failure, but I think he needs to revise it to say at least 6 games. He should have been able to foresee the public backlash from that video. As such, he should have taken a much tougher stance.
