Then there are those of us who’ll gladly plug in Jones if he plays tonight, instead of starting the likes of Dylan Freakin Sampson due to injuries and bye weeks.

Jones is the starter on paper, but Mason out-touched him 16-11 in week 1 (the only time this season both played a full game).

I imagine that's kinda how KOC envisioned things...Mason the workhorse/GL back and Jones the COP/receiving back.

I don't think anyone really knows. I'm sitting Mason now for Bill or Deebo Monday but I really have no idea if that is a smart move. Vikes RBs just got messy again Maybe we get some clarity tonight.

I've got to play Mason in one of the leagues I have Jones. I don't feel too bad about that, just not sure whether or not to stick Jones in as well (vs. Chubb).

I'm annoyed this news came so last minute. I had checked out of fantasy football for the day and then I was shocked to see Jones in the game. I would have benched Mason.

I'm also guessing this will screw over some MFL owners who have IR violations now and can't set a lineup.

I did.

Doesn't make me feel good about J. Mason's future though...or all MN RB options. Maybe McCarthy helps turn things around.

I can easily see McCarthy struggling as well. At least initially.
