I think the hype train is getting a little overboard here, he's a slow plodder on a bottom 5 offense. I would take up beyond pick 120 or something but now he's getting pushed way too far

He was a great pick at July ADP. He's JAG at August ADP.

11th 12th round seems fine to me.

If he's there, thats fine, I saw him around 98 on ffpc this weekend and saw him go in the 8th in a couple of drafts

There will always be people reaching for the players they expect to break out - I could totally see a zero RB build team reaching 1-2 rounds early for Allen.

And IMO it’s a sharp play based on his expected production.

Hype train, sure - bad offense, no doubt. But Braelon Allen is not a slow plodder.

Who does he run away from in this clip? Nice run vs a Titans db back at 1:12 but he doesn't make a move the db just kind of froze.

for a guy who runs a 4.4 you dont exactly seem him turning a corner

Faked him out with a stiff arm then wax on waxed offed it away. The defenders are trained to chop the stiff arm down but missed which gave him the edge. I’ve only ever seen CMC use that fake

Allen looks a lot more explosive this year and is going to force defenders to make business decisions. He had one run this preseason where he concussed the db that hit his legs

Compare that with Hall’s dance moves behind the lines and it’s easy to see why Jets coaches like Allen.
