RB Breece Hall, NYJ (2 Viewers)

Can we all agree that Breece Hall is mega talented?

Peel back Rodgers, the Jets, TikTok, Hackett(dirty expletive!) and First Take, this guy is simply talented and use that as your guiding light here.
It's not Hall's fault the Jets offense is largely a dumpster fire right now with Zach Wilson.
Maybe they should try some direct snaps to Hall and run a wishbone style attac once in a while with Cook there to receive a possible shovel pass as they sweep outside together

I have to think he’s a big buy at this point. The offense can only go up, he’s coming off injury and looked good, Cook is done…seems you’re buying at his floor. Am I wrong?

I’d be curious to see if anyone’s been able to

Considering he most likely was the #1 pick in dynasty for that owner or any keeper league in his/her rookie draft you are starting with at least a high first-round pick and a very good player with that. I think in most keeper formats it will take multiple picks and a very good asset player. You will have to over-buy to get a player like Breece.

He might have been talking redraft. He wasn't specific.

I roster Hall in dynasty. You'd need wild horses. And even then . . .

Not sure trading for him in Redraft could be a thing at this point. I think that ship might have sailed.

Wait and see... the first 3 weeks are the toughest of the schedule I think. Even if he's performing at a decent level, I won't expect much. By week three, we'll have an idea of how recovered he is. Then his schedule opens up and I'd feel more confident. He did what he did last year in a timeshare... a lot of his games were 50/50, 60/40, 70/30... if he gets back on that pace I don't see Dalvin Cook keeping him off the field any more than that.

I think I've seen enough, Hall is coming off my bench for at least week 5. It's only the tough matchup in week 6 vs Philly that is keeping me from declaring him an "every week" starter. After the week 7 bye it's a very favorable schedule.

Sounds like Saleh agrees with me: "Coach Robert Saleh said Wednesday regarding Hall that "there is no pitch count with him anymore," which suggests that Hall will take on a larger workload moving forward, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports."

Here's my concern long-term... first year was a lost season. This year could be a lost season. The Jets have no plan for next year other than hoping Rodgers is healthy and Zach Wilson is the backup (otherwise they'd be using someone else right now), maybe the draft a QB to get ready for 2026, so it could be another lost season.

So he might not return his true value until his 4th season?

Then you should sell when you feel his value is the highest. I personally like what I have seen last season and this season. The Jets are being careful with him but that should be ending soon. And it's being reported that they are cutting him loose from his pitch count. If he has a big game sell. I'm not selling him unless the offer convinces me to do so and not sure there is one of those out there.

Jets’ HC Robert Saleh told reporters that the team will not be limiting RB Breece Hall’s workload any longer.
Buy low window closing...
and closing quickly - ZW actually looked competent which may keep teams from stacking line so much - schedule loosens up quite a bit rest of season. Bye week rest comin up in 2 weeks. Really high on him for down the stretch and playoffs.

The problem with getting hyped about this is two things:

1. Saleh never was asked or clarified if Breece was limited the previous week so when he says not "any longer" we don't know if that had already started. He was just responding to a question asking if Breece was still limited.

2. Secondly, and more of an issue, was his follow-up comment after he said there is no pitch count with Breece which was "but at the same time, we have a lot of guys we want to get the ball to". He also earlier was saying that Dalvin is getting his legs under him, GPS is showing he's faster, that he thinks Dalvin wants more and we just need to find a way got those guys a little more opportunity.

I've been spouting this around here for weeks now but Saleh is coaching like it's little league and everyone gets to participate.

One of our IBL teammates sold Hall for Tank Dell. I wasn't a fan of the move, but FBG.com says it's the right move by about 20 points ROS. Start 1-2-1-2 flex ppr so WRs carry more value.

Feel like if it doesn't happen this week it won't happen at all.
I get it, but I wouldn't go quite that far. I think at a minimum we need to see positive trends this week. It's so clear how much better Hall is than Cook - hopefully these rumblings from coach lead to 20 touches. If that happens I think we are off and running to a nice ROS. If it's yet another 10 touch day split with Cook, yeah I'm all but giving up hope.

just another thing to consider before giving up on hall is the addition of tippmann at G, with vera tucker moving to rt. i am no scout, but during the preseason tippmann stood out at C as athletic, mobile and able to use leverage. vera tucker is arguably their best OL, now at RT. tippmann slotted in at RG and they were able to control the right side of the line. he’s graded out quite well and quickly becoming a key on the OL. if they continue to advance together and hall improves touches and his stamina after the injury, hall might MIGHT have some big games moving forward. it’s a big if as i still doubt wilson is functional. but having a functional line is a start. something that was not apparent in weeks 1-2.

The film watchers say Hall is still not cutting side to side well yet, but maybe he improves this week a bit over last week even. The straight line burst/speed is there but not all the way back.
Still, he's a start this week. Maybe Dalvin is too since it's vs the Broncos D.

He's on every "buy low" and "start 'em" thread out there...I'm worried the hype is way overblown now. I have him in one league where I'm stacked at RB and I'm starting him in my Flex spot over Calvin Ridley...I guess we'll see.

Draft example that many are shuffling the deck with right now

1st Rd-Bijan Robinson
3rd/4th-J.Gibbs
5th? Breece Hall
7th-Pacheco

Let's say you drafted those 4 RBs to have Bijan as your RB1 all year hopefully and the other 3 you figure 1 of them rises and maybe even 1 pushes into the Flex
-Some fo you are talking trades so let me share the crap I am getting for Bijan Robinson like DeAndre Hopkins and o when you all say buy low on Hall, what would you trade FOR Hall because I have him across a fe leagues and I'd like to perhaps move him although like others, if they are going to take the training wheels off the rest of the way, I'm inclined to Flex him often vs teams they can likely get him loose against.

I can see it both way, those who want him and those who would love to trade hm across for a WR2 range guy or under performing type you feel is about to trend up and you also can buy low simultaneously.

Was offered Pierce for Hall this morning in a ppr league. Considering it. I've read Pierce should have a healthy good o line soon to run behind and he touches the ball a ton. I'm still not a believer in anything Saleh says and Hackett will find a way to screw it all up even if Saleh wants to turn Hall loose.

There's no more perfect encapsulation of the chaos on him right now that what I see on my CBS fantasy page... they've labeled him their fantasy "start of the week" and have him projected for... 7.5 points.

This is true regarding Pierce… was running behind a patch-work line for the start of the season. Will now be running behind a good line with a passing game that’s clicking. Could start to approach low end RB1 numbers on a weekly basis.

It was Denver, but it was still really good. He's very very talented.

Now we just have to hope the AVT injury isn't so bad. But per saleh's presser it doesn't look good.

sounds like avt has an achilles injury. he walked off the field, unlike rodgers. same place he got hurt last year.

I presume they’ll start Billy Turner at RT?
so, avt tore his achilles and is gone for the year. i personally think max mitchell plays RT. he was a 4th rounder in 2022 and supposed to be developmental, until becton imploded again. he played well last year IMO but then tests showed blood clots in his leg and a pulmonary embolism in his lung ending his season. he struggled this pre season mentally, but seems to have turned a corner. is he awesome? no. but he is starting caliber in this league. obviously a step down from avt. if brown returns to lt, becton may move back to rt, but i think brown at lt is worse than mitchell at rt. having tippmann at rg may help mitchell going forward.

I love how everyone’s back after they face Denver. Love Hall and his upside but EVERYONE has demolished Denver

Feed Hall and good things happen:
Breece Hall is the first Jets player with 400 rush yards and 100 receiving yards through the team’s first 6 games of a season since LaDianian Tomlinson in 2010.
Since the start of last season, the Jets are 5-0 when Hall gets at least 15 touches in a game. #Jets

Dwain McFarland
Breece Hall looking like a near-every-down back now.

Took over the lead rushing role last week.

Took over the lead passing-down role in Week 6 with a season-high 58% route participation.

Finished second on the team in targets at 15%.

Officially getting RB1 utilization. 🚀

I was desperate at QB after losing Richardson and have some really nice rb's (Mostert,Hall, ettienene, and Bijan) I offered a trade of Mostert and garapolo for Goff and Allgheir....he rejected it... I then offered Hall in the trade instead of Mostert. He accepted. We both valued Hall above Mostert.... I would have rather kept Hall. After doing what he did against Philly I have no doubts he is a top 12 rb going forward.
