Yup, thus the mystery of it allMight of been during the highly questionable fumble play where it looked like his left ankle got rolled up as he was dragged down by a hip drop tackle that wasn't called from behind, but then again this was before the 72 yard TD reception. He also took a shot to the ribs and stayed down for a bit before returning. It could be a recurring turf toe issue, so who knows as I'm just guessing until word comes out.The MRI was yesterday... correct?
Is it strange to not have any update by now? I can't even find speculation on what body part is of concern.
He had a 72 yard catch after what many are saying is a high ankle sprain??
I’d like to believe that, but I’m not sure that will be the case. I think White would still get more rushed than Tucker.I think he meant that if Bucky misses time they will have Tucker in Bucky's role and White would remain in the role he is currently playing. I don't think he meant that Tucker will take Bucky's spot if Bucky is healthy.Get your Tuckers ready .If Bucky goes down ,Tucker takes over his touches while White remains in his role.
Uhm...no. Absolutely no one is predicting that. If Tucker was going to take over, he would have done it two years ago.
It has always seemed, as I recall anyways, like they refuse to use Tucker much, unless both the top two backs are out.I’d like to believe that, but I’m not sure that will be the case. Tucker will have a role for sure, but not the current 70% snap share Bucky owns.I’d like to believe that, but I’m not sure that will be the case. Tucker's monster game last year was when White was out against the Saints. My guess is they will use Tucker to spell White if Bucky is out. Tucker wouldn't assume Bucky's workload. It has always seemed, as I recall anyways, like they refuse to use Tucker much, unless both the top two backs are out.I’d like to believe that, but I’m not sure that will be the case. I assumed they were looking at his ribs, as he took a major shot late, where it looked like he got that wind knocked out of him, but maybe more. Ankle would be a surprise to me, as like he said, he was busting plays left and right after that happened.Yup, thus the mystery of it allMight of been during the highly questionable fumble play where it looked like his left ankle got rolled up as he was dragged down by a hip drop tackle that wasn't called from behind, but then again this was before the 72 yard TD reception. I’ve seen players be able to perform on a gimp ankle just after it happens, but later it swells up. I’m not sure if that’s the problem however.I assumed they were looking at his ribs, as he took a major shot late, where it looked like he got that wind knocked out of him, but maybe more. I’m sure you’re probably right. I’m just saying people sometimes can continue to play on a sprained /twisted ankle before it swells later. I’ve even had that happen to me playing basketball back before the war. Then afterwards it swelled and I couldn’t even walk on it.I’ve seen players be able to perform on a gimp ankle just after it happens, but later it swells up. Man I'm sorry but there's no way someone with an ankle sprain that needs an MRI would be able to run 72 yards for a TD with no limp at all
Edgerrin James tore his ACL and finished the game. Adrenaline is real.Olandis Gary tore his ACL in the 3rd quarter and finished the game, including a run of 25 yards.
Some of the fantasy docs (e.g., Jess Morse) are saying that it might be his wrist. I didn’t see the game, but apparently he landed awkwardly on it during the fumble play. I guess that would jive with him still being able to play without any sort of a limp.Might of been during the highly questionable fumble play where it looked like his left ankle got rolled up as he was dragged down by a hip drop tackle that wasn't called from behind, but then again this was before the 72 yard TD reception. Al Bundy tore his ACL against Andrew Johnson High School in 1966 and still scored four tds. We've reached the annoying part of this thread, haven't we.
I didn't understand that because I didn't think the ground could cause a fumble. The wrist (with the ball) clearly hit the ground causing the ball to come loose. I thought that would have been called a no fumble because of that (plus I thought his shin was down anyway).

Yep, it's a very powerful hormone.Edgerrin James tore his ACL and finished the game. Adrenaline is real.Olandis Gary tore his ACL in the 3rd quarter and finished the game, including a run of 25 yards.
I thought he was down too, and its entirely possible if that play is ruled differently (correctly) that the Bucs beat Philly.I didn't understand that because I didn't think the ground could cause a fumble. #Buccaneers RB Bucky Irving is still gathering medical opinions on what’s being termed an ankle and/or foot injury, sources tell me and @RapSheet. No one has ruled Irving out vs. the #Seahawks but he’s sore and his status is up in the air as the Bucs return to practice tomorrow.
Good memory.Olandis Gary tore his ACL in the 3rd quarter and finished the game, including a run of 25 yards.
My memory is that Donovan McNabb broke his leg and finished the game, his leg muscles were so strong they acted as a splint
75/25 respectivelyProjection on R. White vs. S. Tucker?

Very doubtful. I’d imagine it’s more like 70/30 in White’s favor.Projection on R. White vs. S. Tucker?

Yeah, agreed. But it could also be a hot hand scenario, and Tucker has some juice.Very doubtful. I’d imagine it’s more like 70/30 in White’s favor.Projection on R. White vs. S. Tucker?

They said during the game that the wrist doesn’t count, it has to be the forearm. Not enough video evidence to see if the shin was down. Go birds!I didn't understand that because I didn't think the ground could cause a fumble. The wrist (with the ball) clearly hit the ground causing the ball to come loose. I thought that would have been called a no fumble because of that (plus I thought his shin was down anyway).
They aren't required to disclose anything until his practice participation is affectedIMO no news is good news. If it was something super bad, I feel like the insiders like Schefty and Rapoport would’ve been all over it and something would’ve been reported by now. That said, I doubt we’ll get an update until they hit the practice field tomorrow. Today is basically a day off for them.
I don't think they are allowed to withhold injury information
He got rolled up on pretty bad on that play. Hip drop tackle btw, and his shin was definitely all the way down before his wrist hits. They said during the game that the wrist doesn’t count, it has to be the forearm. I am not referencing him being down by contact. Forever the rule was the ground cannot "cause a fumble". The ground clearly was the reason he fumbled. They said during the game that the wrist doesn’t count, it has to be the forearm. Not enough video evidence to see if the shin was down. Something to watch: Buccaneers superstar RB Bucky Irving was spotted on crutches and a walking boot at the team’s walkthrough today, per
@gregauman
He’s dealing with foot and ankle injuries and his status for the week is unknown.
Anyone else got that sinking feeling that all the secrecy, second opinions, etc. are leading to something like a decision to "play through it" or get surgery (IR situation)?
Possibly career ending
