RB Chase Brown, CIN (1 Viewer)

Only reason I'm happy this guy turned into bust of the year so far,is the guy in my league who thinks he knows it all grabbed Brown with first pick at 12 spot..

Ashton Jeanty has less FP so far, and was drafted earlier in almost every league
 
55 touches ranks him 13th. I have him in my main league, and in the Subscriber contest. Yes, he is a dud so far. But the volume is there, and for that reason, he is a clear hold.
 
Denver quiety kinda lousy against RBs.

Also, give up receptions to RBs at a high clip.

Kinda feel like Cinci gives it a go this week, Browning looks good, although they ultimately lose.
 
Unless you have better options I've always learned you never sit guys you drafted in the early rounds.

Denver D is stout but if I don't have another RB that's getting 3 down work CB is in.

Denver D can be beaten on the ground.

Whether the Cinci O line can take advantage, we'll see.
 
Last year, 20 RB's had over 250 touches. Every one of them was in the top 24 of PPR scoring. The other 4 in the top 24 were James Cook (239 touches, 18 TD's), JK Dobbins (227 touches, 9 TD's), David Montgomery (221 touches, 12 TD's), and Rachaad White (195 touches, 51 catches, 9 TD's). They were ranked 22, 24, 26, and 29 in touches.

Chase Brown is currently 13th in RB touches, but RB31 in PPR scoring. Either a) he will start losing touches, or b) he will begin to climb the RB rankings. I'd put good money on option B.
 
Benched him in favor of Monty this week....he got 1.2 pts for me yesterday, will likely cost me my matchup, cause CB has nowhere to go but up after last week. I'm sure he goes off on my bench tonight.

He’s my only true starter left unless I try to bid for one of the AZ rb’s or White from TB. For reference, my rb2 is Treveon Henderson 🤦‍♂️I’m cooked
 
Don't know what to do with this guy this week.

You'd THINK that he would get some PPR scam love if DET is blowing their doors off. Then again, I thought he'd get that last week. Nope. Three lousy receptions. DET could also just grind the clock late even if they're up by 40.

Only other option is J. Mason. And he's running into the brick wall that is the CLE rush D with a severely banged up O line.

Think he’s trending slightly up and the bengals will throw the ball so I think he’s an ok start

My worry is we will see a lot of Perine of the Lions are ahead by 2+ TDs.

I wouldn't worry about Perine. In their 2 recent blowout losses, Perine has a total of 7 touches.
 
I haven't seen much Cinci footage, but wouldn't it make a ton of sense with a sketchy QB and an even sketchier O line that they would be throwing it a lot to RBs? That's the one piece of this mess that defies rational coaching etc.
 
I'm tempted to start Michael Carter over him but am too cowardly to do it. At least the usage will be there. His O-line is dreadful but the beginning of the season schedule has been awful as well. It seems to open up a bit after next week. Hopium intensified.
