Right again King, bravo.Talked myself into drafting him based on his year end totals last year and looks like a wasted pick. He is probably droppable at this point.
Didn't watch but as per usual he does that 2-3 times a year.Any insight from homers / fans? Where the heck did this come from? I know he's capable of such games from time to time.
I'm a biased believer in him so to me this is expected every week. I don't know what his problem is when he fails like the first three weeks. Either not using him well, or just a "bad game" that anyone can have are my go-to excuses.Any insight from homers / fans? Where the heck did this come from? I know he's capable of such games from time to time.
He was probably pretty embarrassed about his performance the week before. Some of the game film on him against the Colts was pretty bad.I'm not sure what lit a fire under Swift's ***, but he looked like an All-Pro. TOTALLY different than the first 3 weeks. Swift has that type of ability, though.
His OL will be a hinderance, but I'm interested to see if he can keep up that type of intensity.
A lot little things happened, so its hard to pinpoint.Any insight from homers / fans? Where the heck did this come from? I know he's capable of such games from time to time.
He's been decisive running the last two weeks. There were concerns that his vison is poor, and he doesn't break tackles. Those still may be true, but the Bears have been doing a lot better getting him into space. The way Swift has played these last couple weeks really makes you wonder what Philly was doing last year. The RBBC with Gainwell makes me think the Eagles' coaches had no clue about what they had.
He struggled early on this season, but to Chicago's credit, they've got him going. This is what Swift has been capable of all along. It'll be interesting to see if he can continue to produce with a rookie QB in a developing offense with a shaky OL. The future looks bright, though.
Tick tock tick tock tick tock….As a Swift truther and dynasty rookie drafter, I love -- and am shocked -- that the Bears have been so committed to Swift. I expected them to give him a healthy workload and a decent leash if he performed poorly. But after those first three games, I thought for sure he would end up losing anything even close to a bellcow role. But his opportunities have gone 11, 19, 17, 23, 23, in that order. I didn't think it was possible for anyone to trust this guy more than I do, but I guess they do.

Third-straight 100-yard game for D'Andre Swift.
Nearly 400 total yards since Week 4.
I think my take was right - that they hadn't opened the playbook up for Caleb yet at that point and Swift's problems were more related to the entire offense sucking. Particularly the run fits. Yes some was on Swift but my thought at that time was ok well Caleb is taking steps each week and this thing is going to open up soon. Then they gave him the wristband and now they're 4-2 and he looks like the #1 overall (with all due respect to Jayden Daniels who frankly looks no less worthy of that #1 pick as well). As a Swift truther and dynasty rookie drafter, I love -- and am shocked -- that the Bears have been so committed to Swift. I may have been very, veryI may have been very, very wrong about this guy.

DohDNP today, along with Roschon. Is Homer a worthwhile pivot?
I'm not a Chicago fan (not sure why that's relevant) but last I checked she was still with Kelce. What are The Chicago Homies hearing about Swift's status this week?
See its posts like this that begs to get the laughing emoji back. #laughingemojireinstatedI'm not a Chicago fan (not sure why that's relevant) but last I checked she was still with Kelce. What are The Chicago Homies hearing about Swift's status this week?
I would fade him and find another option if possible. Two straight DNPs. Any reports on practice today? Monday night game makes this tricky.
No practice reports yet but since this is the same practice schedule he followed last week I feel pretty solid about him playing so long as he gets in an LP today. Two straight DNPs. Any reports on practice today? Monday night game makes this tricky.

That I don’t know. Seems like a very weak option but he’s been a little unpredictable and while it did not help last week the abscence of Roschon should give him a little more goal line work. But is he worth starting in fantasy? No practice reports yet but since this is the same practice schedule he followed last week I feel pretty solid about him playing so long as he gets in an LP today. Two straight DNPs. He was in fact LP today and officially listed as questionable. No practice reports yet but since this is the same practice schedule he followed last week I feel pretty solid about him playing so long as he gets in an LP today. Two straight DNPs. I may just do that.I would hate to have my playoffs reliant on a RB with a groin injury on MNF. May want to pick up T Homer and pivot if so. It would be smart if your opponent has Swift and block him with Homer also.
Have Swift in a Must Win game to get the last playoff spot. Dobbins on IR. Etienne/Bigsby combo on the bench. Harris and Swift in the starting lineup as of right now.I may just do that.I would hate to have my playoffs reliant on a RB with a groin injury on MNF. May want to pick up T Homer and pivot if so. I’m in the same boat plus got a zero from Kupp. I could play Warren over him but that’s a grim situation. I just grabbed Homer…Have Swift in a Must Win game to get the last playoff spot. Just dropped Downs for Homer as MNF Insurance. That’ll suck if I have to pull that trigger. Hopefully one of my WRs puts up a ridiculous 40 point week or something like that. I’m gonna need it at this rate.
Ah. Misread. Thanks for clarifying. That’s great to hear.He said Swift seemed surprised, as if surprised there was even an injury designation or a question of whether he'd play.Funny to me that the reporter said it was “surprising “ when swift said “I’m good”.x.com

Most football players say that if their arm is hanging off.
Ordinary because of his talent, but useful because of his offense and lack of competition. He's not a priority, but if he makes it to ~rb30 he makes sense. What's everyone thinking with Swift and new improved Chicago offense ?
Personally, I'm bullish on Swift and honestly, I am surprised his talent came into question. It's always seemed his issues were related to playing through pain. I don't know I have ever heard any questions about his skill.Ordinary because of his talent, but useful because of his offense and lack of competition. Now that Brian Robinson has been traded it seems clear that Ben Johnson is comfortable with his RB room as is. Looking at the depth chart I see Roschon Johnson, Royce Freeman, Travis Homer, Brian Brittain and the rookie scatback.
Looking at that roster I expect Swift, who is getting $8 mil this season, to be heavily, heavily utilized. He played 16 snaps against the Chiefs and saw the ball 8 times.
I expect him to be pulled in short yardage, including goalline plunges, but he has a legitimate three down skill set and not much of a rotation behind him.
The Bears offensive tackles are questionable but they massively upgraded all three interior o-line spots and, on paper, they landed the most coveted offensive minded HC of, maybe the last three HC hiring cycles (a coach very familiar with Swift from Detroit).
IMO Swift feels like a safe floor guy who has big time upside.
FTR: Yes, I do have a potential bias, he ishl on my FBG League Uno team. I traded Jonathan Taylor and Jerry Jeudy for Ladd & Swift.
