The perils of being high on a 7th round pick
lol…the JCM roller coaster continues…Rodriguez in first drive
Don't bank on JCM being the passing down guy, it could easily be Nichols.Wish I didn't drop Rodriguez last week. Had a feeling if Ekler got hurt he'd be taking over as teams rb.. Bill will be in on passing downs.
Why? He's a veteran in his second year in the offense. I am sure the full playbook is open.I think Mariotta playing could increase the chances we more of the veterans.
Are you sure that's what they were laughing at?People laughed at my posts in this thread about Rodriguez, look who’s laughing now! My new Jordan Mason
Just to have a steady reliable presence who's less likely to make a mistake in pass pro or on a play call. With MM it will be tougher to overcome mistakes. Why? He's a veteran in his second year in the offense. I am sure the full playbook is open.I think Mariotta playing could increase the chances we more of the veterans.
This backfield is a mess
Full blown RBBC.This backfield is a mess
You took the words out of my mouth. Great for best ball, but regular leagues are going to be a headache.

Worst part is it is a five way committee. Both of their qbs run, they have three rbs getting touches, and I bet Deebo is going to see three to six runs a game.
I agree but there is still tons of time for things to change. Irving didn’t take over the Bucs backfield until what late October or November? I’m still hopefulLooked good but the usage won’t be there for a RB2 season. Looks like a solid RB3/flex
Problem is, every RB looked good so it's unlikely his usage will increase as long as that's happening.Only complaint is usage. He still has looked very good with the touches he’s gotten. I’m still on board.![]()
Wrong againThis interaction = 2 people. So far, 2 people have used the word ‘everybody’. 100%.Wrong againNo, I’m not. Everyone uses the word everyone. You're automatically wrong when you use the word "everyone"I disagree. Everyone bases their opinions on how many shares they have. Confirmation bias at work. Not really. I have a couple shares but just can’t honestly call him “special” at this point. Not everyone bases their opinions of players based on how many shares they have. It’s easy to tell who got shares of Bill vs who didn’t get shares of Bill in this thread.
Put me on team “special” wishcasters.

Jacory Croskey-Merritt rushed eight times for 26 yards and a touchdown in the Commanders’ Week 3 win over the Raiders, adding one catch for five additional yards.
JCM didn’t see any work until the Commanders’ third drive of the game, but the rookie did find the end zone late in the third quarter on a one-yard plunge to put the Commanders up by three possessions. Those hoping for Croskey-Merritt to take over the backfield will need to wait at least another week — or longer. The Commanders involved three different running backs in this one while also giving Deebo Samuel three carries. Croskey-Merritt shouldn’t be viewed as anything more than a touchdown-dependent option in Week 4 against the Falcons.

8/26 is special? Special doesn't let guys like McNichol's and Rodriguez see the fieldFor what it's worth, one of the broadcasters called Bill special. While I've only said he's got a chance to be special, I won't put up much of an argument when somebody uses that word to describe him.
We just need to be patient. Remember, not only is Bill a 7th round pick, he essentially only has one year of major college experience. I'm confident Bill will be their feature back by next season. Considering how cheap most of us acquired him, anything sooner is a bonus (at least in dynasty leagues).
Relax, they know the offense .. If he wasn’t special they wouldn’t feel comfortable dealing their starting RB to San Fran. Rodriguez and McNichols are nothing more than complimentary pieces to the running game. Bill’s time will come. Be patient.8/26 is special? Everyone in dynasty who hasn't already sold will never learn. JCM's go in the 7th round for a reason. They're replaceable level talent.
I'm staying out of the "special" side of this silly argument but his touches were : 0, 5 (reception), 9, 9, 4, -2, 6, 0 (GL), 1 (TD), -18/26 is special? Special doesn't let guys like McNichol's and Rodriguez see the field
Or maybe BRob just isn’t special. If he wasn’t special they wouldn’t feel comfortable dealing their starting RB to San Fran.
I tried to sell but couldn’t find a buyer. Maybe don’t throw the baby out with the bathwater.Everyone in dynasty who hasn't already sold will never learn

On two of those carries his maximum yardage potential was 1 yard.
He had a fine day.
You're stuck holding him if you can't sell for a 2nd+ or a 3rd + another flierI tried to sell but couldn’t find a buyer. Maybe don’t throw the baby out with the bathwater.Everyone in dynasty who hasn't already sold will never learn

Chris Rodriguez started for the Commanders and played the first drive. From there, we saw a three-way rotation. Final backfield carry shares: CRod - 48% Bill - 35% Jeremy McNichols - 17% Rodriguez got the backfield’s only target. Nobody here is particularly startable.
