RB James Cook, BUF (2 Viewers)

Had to either roll with Justice Hill this morning to replace Cook in my RB 2 spot or pick up Ty Johnson Monday night in case Cook doesn’t play. Rolled the dice and picked up Ty.

If Cook is down this week my top 5 guys are out. So f-ing brutal.

Just put Dowdle in for Cook. And I have Ray D also. I just feel like tomorrow could be messy especially if Cook is actually active. If he's not I have no idea how they will use Davis and Johnson.

I think I’m risking it instead of flexing Kraft.

Think I’d go with Tucker, he’s getting peppered and all of the GB WRs not named Reed are dinged up, running bad routes, suspended or have duck feet where their hands should be,

Me, I’m looking at starting a lottery ticket running back.
Upon reflection and looking back at the precedent set this year, high probability Cook doesn’t play tomorrow. Tucker it is.
Well, I suck.

at this point it looks like he is expected to play.

however, if the game gets out of hand with one team winning by a wide margin, then I think they sit Cook at that point in an attempt to preserve his health and prevent re injury.

but I'd plan on him being there.

oh I'm sorry - you thought I meant Tucker Kraft?

totally meant Sean Tucker, my bad

back to the James Cook thread....

sounded yesterday like he's playing?

James Cook (BUF) has failed to exceed 14.5 rushing attempts in 10 of his last 12 games in primetime (12.1 rushing attempts/game average).

Ray Davis is a 3 down back and I rostered him over TY for the lotto appeal. Ty is in his 6th year on his 3rd team.

Davis could be another Tyrone. I like these 24 year old rookies. No tread and wiser.

I lean Ray for the better risk reward and Ty if you just need some points he might be trusted more I think coach might go either way.

How good is he? 🤔
Tough to say. He has had a few games where he hasn’t done much. But most of his games he’s been really productive and has a nose for the endzone (which is not something I thought we’d say with Josh Allen under center) So he’s hard to sit as you know his ceiling is high. (Says a guy who sat him last week and lost because of it).

He passes the eye test to me. Looks good. What’s strange this year though is how Josh isn’t targeting him out of the backfield much like he did the back half of last season. Ironically the receiving element is one of Cooks best skill sets.

Well in all fairness, Davis is pretty talented as well. As much as we all hate it, most NFL teams are rbbc nowadays, especially when you’ve got multiple good RBs.

I would suspect that with Kincaid out, they might try to get him involved in the passing game a little more. Tough to get yards via the ground v. the Chiefs anyhow.

Awesome, James Cook not in the game under 2 minutes in the half. Your best RB but no, keep him on the bench. McDermott is an absolute moron.

So infuriating watching this game. Johnson in, Davis in, Johnson back in. Cook no where to be found. Unless he is hurt. But probably not, McDermott is an idiot regardless.

I guess James Cook is officially in a time share. I have the worst RB group ever with Breece hall on same roster. I will actually start Rico Dowdle over both of them going forward.

you should definitely draw conclusions in the first quarter, honestly how much more do you have to see?

oh, wait....

In weather like this, it shouldn't be a surprise when the Bills run and run some more, or spread the ball around a little among their RBs, all of whom are pretty good. But I wasn't expecting Cook to break a long one in the snow - love that guy!
