I’d probably keep Tuten, but neither are more than injury handcuffs, at least at this point of the season. The starters in front of both are just playing too well.
I am at the moment. He did get some carries last game but he's strictly a possible lotter ticket with an injury to Javonte.

With Sanders out, he’s one injury away on a good offense. However, we don’t really know where he’s at in his development. He’s still a mystery to me.

I have him and Brashard as playoff stashes in a 16 players redraft where most of my team is cranking along just fine. But if Javonte got hurt, it’s still hard so say what he would do. I figure, he’d be good enough for the flex.

Its one fumble, I'm not freaking out yet. On the other hand, I'd buy him in the leagues that I missed out on him.

dunno, didn't see the game. I looked up his stats after @Blick post and I was like "eh one fumble, no big deal".

I doubt coaches give a player a pass if the ball was recovered. A fumble is a fumble. That said, as bad as fumbles are, I have no idea how punitive a coach is when a young player fumbles once or twice or more.

ok but....his past doesn't really matter right now. Yeah you could argue that "well he's had issues in the past so be wary." But if he doesn't fumble as much now does it really matter if he fumbled a ton at texas?
of course, he had a fumble at Denver so whatever. I'm not all chicken little over it

I think his shortcomings are far greater than fumbling. I didn’t think he’s very good as a runner coming into the draft, but is a good receiving back.

I would be shocked. They don't value the RB position, and have so many glaring needs on defense.
I doubt they make any trades, as they are rarely active at the trade deadline. But if they make a trade, the secondary has to be the priority.

Seems so. Blue declared inactive for tonight. I dropped him and added Davis. I am not the slightest bit excited about Malik but the Cowboys back-up RB needs to be rostered.

I think Davis is a decent bench option. I've liked him when I've seen him in preseason. He's got decent burst and pass catching ability. Not a guy who is gonna threaten at the GL, so if something happened to Javonte, I'd think Luepke might get those snaps.

It's just tough to imagine a 26 year old RB who hasn't gotten an NFL touch since the 2022 season becoming very relevant. I want to believe though, I really do.

Agreed, nobody will. I've seen a lot of people talking yesterday and today about Dallas letting Dowdle go, and how great he's been, and like, Dallas doesn't miss him at all. Javonte has been great.

And even then he still probably won't be. But if something happens to Javonte, I guess it might be helpful to have Malik on your roster.
