Curious on your thoughts of Stevenson over Miller, as I am also facing that decision.

If Kamara is inactive I believe I would chance Miller over Harris.
I said yesterday if not now then when because I feel like I'm reading to much hesitancy on him so allow me to add to this comment.
In dynasty Kendre was a first round pick in my leagues. He was drafted that high in the hopes Kamara's age/contract would have him exiting in a year or two and he would have a shot to take over. Those of us who drafted him that high got dealt a blow when Kamara got extended. But if you spent a first round rookie pick on him in hopes he'd one day be the "guy", well it's been a long wait but that day is here.
In redraft. If you go back to drafts before he hurt his hamstring early in camp he was getting drafted in the 10th round of FFPC high stakes leagues, this data covers July drafts. Ahead of guys like Charbonnet, at the very top of the RB handcuff market. He was of course drafted that high in case of an injury to Kamara. Again, that day is here.
We don't have bye weeks and if you are alive now it means you probably got a playoff team so in theory you should have a solid lineup. As such he's not a must start. There are no guarantees here, we are coming off a week where the top 3 RB's in PPG all laid duds. That's my disclaimer. But I think he's a very very strong option who projects to be in a bell cow role and some of the names I'm seeing people ponder starting over him just seems like to much hesitancy to plug someone in who finally is the position anyone who invested in him hoped he'd be.

Agree 100% with your thoughts. I think the hesitancy among many is the matchup on the road in GB rather than Kendre himself
What do you see as being so bad with the matchup? In my FFPC leagues when I go to put in lineups it shows where the opposing team ranks and GB gives up the 26th most points to RB's. Now, that's a basic stat with a load of flaws but it's a baseline to start from and by most rushing stats GB seems middle of the pack.
Maybe there is concern they get the wheels blown off, they abandon the run and Kendre is not playing on passing downs? I can see that angle and really if I felt more sure Kendre would be involved in the passing game I'd move him from very strong start to must start status. I personally view the match-up as neutral, does not move me one way or the other.
Besides everything else I'm going to take a drive down narrative street and I just love the idea of a fresh legged RB late in the season who has been dogged a lot in his career(some justified) who finally has a shot to prove some people wrong on an offense that badly needs him this week.
I answered this already. Next week when his matchup is 10x easier.

Dude the Saints offense is a bunch of guys off the scrap heap. They are playing in Lambeau. They are an indoor team. Screw stats. GB is the #1 fantasy defense this week for a reason. Next week when they play another crappy team like LV he will be a must start.
Look above. The stats are meaningless. You also realize LV doesnt have Crosby anymore right?

The main concern is that you have a rookie QB along with virtually no viable pass catchers. Could be an entire face plant by the offense, although I’m hoping Kendre does get a lot of dumpoffs because it won’t be Jamaal.

No I don't think stats are meaningless in a stat based game.
Yes I know Crosby is out.
Yes I know GB defense is the top ranked defense but it's not for the run defense or what they've surrendered to opposing RB's.
Yes I know the Saints are light on weapons and have been almost the entire season. No Taysom Hill is a big plus for Kendre and the lack of weapons in general should in theory lead to relying on him more.
I know people would view Kamara as a must start against GB. I don't know anyone who was benching Charbonnet last week against GB. Have already said the matchup is neutral.
Nick Underhill, very plugged in beat writer, was saying yesterday that he expects Kendre to get a bell cow role. No RBBC. That seems kind of obvious but in case anyone was worried about Jamaal being part of the RBBC he was saying no to that. But how they felt about him in pass protection, how he performed in that department was the one unknown with respect to his passing game role. So I think there is a chance we see a lot of Jamaal in the dumpoff role, that's the only thing that differentiates him from strong start to must start for me.

I would be trading him so fast in dynasty if it were allowed
Miller isnt on the same planet as a receiver that Kamara is. Thats why Kamara has been a must start all year. It had little to do with his rushing or TD scoring ability. Seattle is a WAY better offense than the Saints. Its like you are ignoring all the signs. Hey you do you if you think this guys a must start. Id say hes a desperation flex this week and next week a solid RB2.

At this point I’m just hoping Miller gets 12-20 touches somehow, which he might do nothing with and that at some point a pass is lobbed up to MVS or some such person so Miller can stumble in to the end zone. I’d take a double digit fantasy score no matter what way it came tbh

I just can't quit Kendre. Kendre looked great in week 18 last season. Kendre has looked explosive since coming back from IR post Dennis Allen. I'm personally excited to see what he can do. I'm starting him, LFG!

Kendre was the first name out of his mouth to pick up where he left off. He’s been getting nearly double digit carries two weeks in a row now. I get that he said a committee approach, but I imagine Jamaal Williams will get passing down work. The Saints will be dumping off regardless.
This is a bad offense. Still leaning Miller over Reynolds and Tracy. Can’t have an ankle injury and inconsistent coaching (Giants) costing a semi-final. If I knew Craig Reynolds was getting 12-15 touches, I’d go with him, but I don’t know that. So a bad NO offense it seems like it is.

The coach comments were a good find. Got me a little lower on Kendre. For sure makes sense for the coach to get 3 RB's prepared since Kendre has maxed out at so far in his career at 26 snaps and 16 touches in a game and with his hamstring history to consider. But I still think he'll easily lead the team in rushes and grab a few dump offs.
I've got other players involved in some leagues with Kendre, Tracy and Walker and a few with all 3 and in most of those leagues I've been mulling 1 or two to use and have had it as Kendre, Walker and Tracy. I just moved it to Walker, Kendre and Tracy. Which means Tracy will probably blow up but like you said, bad ankle, bad OL, bad team, shaky usage.

Going back and forth on Miller - wondering if we should really be worried about Jamaal Williams of all people. The experience and pass protection factor shouldn’t be ignored, nor should the revenge game aspect at Lambeau, but Jamaal has absolutely no juice left (and really only had it behind a dominant Lions OL for a few years).

More worried about a negative game script than anything. He'll share, but lead, and how does that play out if they're down multiple scores by Q2 and they can't sustain a drive. Similar setup as Ford.

The signs were certainly there and yes, it played out that way. The bolded part is not true though, as Rizzi seems to have little interest in truly featuring Miller.

The bolded isn’t true but neither is this, necessarily. Rizzi has shown us that in a negative gamescript he’s going with the third-down back often. He hasn’t shown us what he’ll do with a neutral gamescript like the LV one will likely be.
Now, I’ve got to decide whether it’s Miller or Austin Hooper if Tyrone Tracy can’t play (how’s that for a championship spot that’s a dud, huh?), and since Kamara didn’t practice today, I’m leaning Miller. But I’ve got to make that mind up by Saturday.
Oh please, he made at least two mental errors when he did not know the play and they barely played him after. On top of that I acknowledged the concern as being valid they get the doors blown off and don’t play him on passing downs. This concern was further enhanced when as youyou can see in a post I made after our discussion that I lowered my outlook on him after Rizzi said he use all 3 RB’s a lot.
Even before Rizzi’s comments I never said he was must start. I thought he was very solid option before he said he was going to use them all, still had him as top 24 option but got lower on him after that.
My main point in our discussion was not seeing the Raiders as a decidedly better matchup. And if he still does not know the playbook and Rizzi is going to mix in all 3 RB’s I’ll maintain that position.

Guys, I gotta tell you something. I just watched something where a guy quoted Nick Underhill (beat reporter for the team), and Kendre was coming off the field in pass protection situations and in the two-minute drill no matter what. That was how the Saints practiced it. Now, nobody said anything about the playbook, but one podcaster that follows the Saints said “not good” didn’t describe Miller’s pass pro. The podcast guy said “nonexistent” was more like it.
I wonder what Kendre has been spending all of his off time doing.
So what do I have to tell you (that I began to say so earnestly last paragraph)? This isn’t happening. My reach at 1.05 in the 2023 dynasty draft? Not happening. Kamara getting cut after this year to make room for Miller? Not happening. The Saints drafting another running back this year or signing one? Happening.
He might go out and run decently on the Raiders and get everybody excited, but I’d use it as a chance to sell high.
That’s my two cents right now. I don’t want to have been wrong about the player, but I think (and I am pretty sure) I was. Good on you, rock. IMO the jury is still out on Miller, but a lot of these tangential things going on don’t point to a bright future with the Saints. You can be the most dynamic runner out there, but if you can’t do the important team stuff like pass protection, you won’t see the field much. A lot of RBs aren’t great pass pros, but you can’t be a zero unless you’ve truly made your bones as a runner - and that’s not him (at least yet).
