I am a big fan of McIntosh...his game looks like it will translate well to the NFL...there is not gonna be too many Bell-cows in today's NFL and McIntosh is the type of RB you really need to pay attention to because he could end up being a very productive member of an RBBC who could be fantasy relevant due to his receiving skills.

i have scouted freelance for nfl teams, mostly for sports agencies the last year or so. Some college stuff for game prep against opponents. I have interned a few young guns who are with nfl squads now or blesto. I will be at the senior bowl reviewing 2 players in particular for one nfl orginization.

I understand that point and it makes sense but on the other hand after playing in a loaded backfield for 4 years it will be interesting to see how he compares to the rest of these backs...can he be one of those guys like Josh Jacobs (not saying he is that good) who puts up better #'s in the pros than in college because he actually gets more opportunity in the NFL and also has low tread on the tires.

Year 2 and 3 were capped by the stout UGA RB room. McIntosh with his size/speed will be what we wanted Rachaad White to be in the NFL.

I think he is certainly in that conversation, along with Jahmyr Gibbs, Deuce Vaughn, Evan Hull and Travis Dye. They are all excellent receiving backs.

Seahawks selected Georgia RB Kenny McIntosh with the No. 237 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.​

Pete Carroll loves his running backs, doesn't he folks? McIntosh (6’/204) was a backup for most of his time at Georgia but made an impact as a pass catcher and a kick returner before earning the starting job in 2022. He posted a pedestrian rushing line of 149/829/10 but was unstable as a receiver out of the backfield. McIntosh caught 43 passes for 505 yards and a pair of scores. Things came apart at the combine after McIntosh ran a 4.62 40-yard dash followed by a 7.66 three-cone drill. He earned a 4.1 relative athletic score. McIntosh will likely serve as a third-down specialist and a specials teams contributor because of his poor athleticism. Ken Walker and Zach Charbonnet are likely to split Seattle's backfield to start the season.

Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said RB Kenny McIntosh "easily" could have been taken in the third round.​

Carroll went on to say that McIntosh is a "special" RB and noted that he is already thought of as a leader in the RB room. Though all this positive talk probably doesn't augur well for Deejay Dallas, Carroll also said Ken Walker had a "fantastic" offseason. Carroll is often extremely positive and offers a lot of praise about his players in public, so we wouldn't necessarily get carried away with this, but the fact that he got this kind of praise this soon does put McIntosh on the monitor list this offseason.

Terrible workout numbers and some talk of medical issues hurt him but your eye's might not be lying to you with what you are seeing on the field and as a Walker owner I agree he's a potential problem. Deejay Dallas is strong in pass protection, Charbonnet brings a really good passing game skill set, but I think McIntosh is better at that aspect of the game then both of them. Like you said probably won't be enough in this backfield makeup to make him worth anything for fantasy, but easy to see him denting the other two more then people anticipate.

It will be tough but I do think he is worth a roster spot if you have one early in the year...I do see a scenario where he carves out a James White type of role...with Walker and Charbonnet onboard it is going to be difficult to make fantasy noise but I do believe this is the type of kid that his Coaches and Teammates will fall in love and he will find a role in this offense.

Matthew Berry sees him as a non-threat to Walker's workload if Walker is healthy...more of a pass catching back.
