Not true, you have a lot of nerve. What a beautiful matchup too. I am playig him over Bill who has gotten on my last nerve
That’s my concern - or he gets hurt himself. Usually these situations are too good to be true. You know how this usually goes though….10 for 34…
Yes. Every possible card is stacked in his favor. This has all of the makings of a career game for Monangai.I don't particularly like Monangai long-term, but you hit the lottery if you're an owner and need a RB this week. Couldn't have worked out better against the worst-ranked D in the league, who'll probably be without Trey Hendrickson, no less.
If Monangai is ever going to do anything, this is the game.
I agree, he's a powerful sqaut guy with good instincts but I don't think I see much longterm here. That said, the Bears lead back can be a profitable fanatasy asset with this current offense so I am glad I roster him where I do.I don't particularly like Monangai long-term, but you hit the lottery if you're an owner and need a RB this week. I do like Swift a lot better, but yeah, I can see Monangai have a pretty good game against the Bengals.I agree, he's a powerful sqaut guy with good instincts but I don't think I see much longterm here. Oh yeah Swift has so much more talent. Kyle is just a Gai but I think that still could equal consistent RB2 production as long as Swift is out.I do like Swift a lot better, but yeah, I can see Monangai have a pretty good game against the Bengals.I agree, he's a powerful sqaut guy with good instincts but I don't think I see much longterm here. I have irrationally held on for awhile just because of my dislike and distrust of SwiftIn my oldest league that is brutal for RBs, I've cut him and picked him up like 4 times. He's starting this weekend for sure!
What?Monangai vs CIN, or Bijan vs NE?
It was kind of a joke, but when I look closer, it’s worth talking about. NE hasn’t given up 50 rushing yards to any RB this season, and they have faced the likes of Cook, Judkins, Jeanty, and Achane. CIN has given up 50+ to 9 RB’s in only 8 weeks, including 4 over 100. The only RB to face both teams so far is Jaylen Warren. 47 yards on 18 carries vs NE, and 127 yards on 16 carries vs CIN.What?Monangai vs CIN, or Bijan vs NE?
We know, but don't want to jinx it.Why is this thread so quiet? Kyle is getting his big chance, and it comes at a perfect time. Facing one of the worst run D’s in the league with both Swift and Johnson out. The other RB’s are Travis Homer, who has 9 touches in 3 years with CHI, and Britain Brown, a guy with no career touches. Now, I’m not saying he’s going to replace Swift even with a good game, but what is stopping him from 20 touches? In CIN’s 8 games, opposing RB’s have had at least 25 touches, with a high of 36 and an average of 30.
FBG staffers like him for this week… a lot!
If Cincy takes an early lead, and Bears forced to play catch-up ,might not be good game script for him. What?Monangai vs CIN, or Bijan vs NE?

BRobinson can break loose for long gains at any time, plus he should see a bunch of targets.
I’ve never actually heard it annunciated, so in my head I always say Kylie Minogue.Monangai is a fun nam te to say. Coming off Halloween it sounds like it could be from some old classic horror movie
Godzilla vs The Monangai
Or perhaps the voodoo king Monangai and his army of zombies
anyway, I really am hoping he can find the end zone today

Is it because they both went to Rutgers? He kind of reminds me more of a Gus Edwards type.I get strong Pacheco vibes. Hard runner, feet always moving, almost looks out of control. If the Bears can get out of Monangai half of what the Chiefs got out of Pacheco, it will be considered a steal. He's already their best draft pick from 2025 so far. Which is both a nice surprise and highly disconcerting.
#golfclapHe’s pretty fly for Monangai.
Adam Koffler
With the way he runs, I don’t think Kyle Monangai is giving the RB1 job back to D’Andre Swift this season
SwiftI posted this in the game thread as well. Before we get too excited about Monangai going forward this Bengals defense is bad, like really , really bad. And they are missing by far, their best defender.
Yes. That was a big part of my thinking. This week we're going to hear a bunch of people talking about 50/50 timeshare going forward.SwiftI posted this in the game thread as well. This was a great game for the rookie and congrats to all who started him, but if Swift returns in week 10, he should return to your bench.Yes. That was a big part of my thinking. Certainly Monangai will see more work but, this is still Swift's backfield.
In fact, getting more in-game rest will probably be a great thing for Swift.
