As for the bolded I would not agree. All I've been saying is Sanders is the #1RB on this team and his usage and playing time before he got hurt is in fact what the team was doing. They were just not giving RB's many chances and it just so happened it looked like they were changing their approach the game he got hurt.
The RBs had 19 carries the game Sanders got hurt (Raiders). They didn't change their approach until they brought in a bigger back in Howard, and doubled the amount of RB carries the following game.
