Hey Steel and Quim/Qim,
I appreciate the criticism and I don't mind questions. But if you were to read the posts last week I was pretty worked up about Stewart being ranked so high. I warned most. I had people all but forcing me to try and make Felix Jones a green light which I wouldn't do. How did those situations work out for everyone? I am not always right but almost every time this year when I post "
don't chase points" the RB that has a huge game the week before comes crashing back to earth or at least falling to the middle of the pack.
If the Bucs can walk into Atlanta and establish the run they are going to win the football game because Josh Freeman will have plenty of leeway to make plays at that point. I love that kid and think in another year or two he will be at least as good as McNabb was in his prime, maybe even better. Tampa Bay is on record as saying they wouldn't trade Freeman for Matt Ryan straight up as welll as many other GMs right now. But here's the thing...I don't think TB is going to win the football game this weekend, I don't think they will be able to establish the run, and I don't think they will be able to stop the run. Against good solid teams like Pitt and NO at home they were outscored 79-19...what's Atlanta coming off a bye week going to do to them after they went toe to toe with AZ in a 38-35 thriller? They are spent this week IMO. When you can't stop the run your sklil position guys are riding the pine for long periods of time. How many carries do you really believe Blount is going to get? I would put the number at somewhere in the 12-15 range tops because TB is not going to be closing the game out. When they fall behind 14-3 they are going to take to the air. Everytime a RB has a surprise game the Shark Pool or folks that post think they have find buried pirate's treaure. When a back up QB comes into the game we all hit the

button but when it's a RB and in this case the RB3 really then we start
And as far as being lazy I understand why you are saying that but it has nothin to do with my OP. I type up about 7-10 pages in MS Word every week. Each week I do a mini term paper and there isn't a lot of double spacing going on. It takes me several hours just to gather up stats, facts, and ideas so I can formulate what I want to put down on paper. All in all I think it probably takes a minimum of 6-8 hours to complete one of these. I don't do it for money I never have, I don't do it to look like a genius cause usually I don't, I do it because I like this place and the posters in general. Even when folks think I'm mad and bothered I really am not. Even the hawks are gracious enough to let me post over at the cag:e: and invite me to some different threads and games in the FFA. All in all I think I get treated rather well in here.
What I have't done much of the past few weeks is post a lot after I am done with the OP. Mainly because this is not a WDIS thread and I look for others to answer questions that different folks have. I post enough in the OP, no need to post another 29 of them in the thread. Many times when people ask questions I feel the awnswer is already there but I also want people to think for themselves some fo the time. Now when I see outrageous proclamations and projections I tend to speak up but I also am entertained by some of the logic that is produced.
If you don't feel like reading the thread that is your choice. I don't mind the criticism but it's easier to swallow if I know what you all are thinking as well. I can put up Blount's numbers but TB RBs most of the season have left owners with a warm feeling that use them. It was Kareem Huggins for a little while, then Blount who disappointed majorly the 1st time out earlier in the season. He had a good game last week, terrific. But when I see someone say "premier" back in an elite system (COUGH COUGH) we have different definitions of the terms premier and elite when it comes to RBs.
I do wish you the best of luck this weekend. Maybe we can debate a few more players. I welcome the feedback and maybe other folks feel as you do.
